Yes, had a look at the balkan 154 but it was in the later colours so gave it a miss.
Saw the pink tristar and despite it being a jet x mould which gets a bit of a slating decided to have it anyway as nobody else has ever produced it. After that I had decided to give it a rest before I went into voluntary liquidation but then spotted another jet x tristar in the courtline yellow scheme which to my eyes looks far more like the correct yellow than the gemini one I have currently have so have bought that as well. It's a bit reckless but I've been dealing with an ongoing family crisis for the past 3 year's which came close to destroying me at one point, collecting the models gives me some release from all the stress.

My God, that's hideous!
It must've worked as a piece of publicity though, the image of the grey concrete soulless shitehole is what pervades even now.
Time to move on!

Did you buy the Spantax Coronado? I tried to!
Don't know if you're online but theres a csa ilyushin on eBay with about 15 mins to go. Would have had a punt on it but I really can't have anything else this month

Thanks Wolfheze, unfortunately i wasn't online, but i think i might get divorced if i buy any more at the moment. the wife has had to move her artifacts to make more room for my collection which now stands at 99. There will have to be something special for No.100!!

Bad start by Blues, Villa threw away a lead but Wolves managed a good opening day.

There were some fairly strong words from Harry Redknapp about the need for more players, we are in desperate need of a striker but it all depends on whether the money is to be made available.

Not my words just something i read this week that struck a chord. We have got strikers as has every team what you need is a goalscorers

Definitely but goalscorers cost money and Blues are not exactly known for their spending. Maybe someone decent will come in on loan.

Hello wolfheze really like that Coronado I remember that Spantax it used to leave a smoke trail like no other it would dissappear from view but you could still hear it long after and the smoke trail lasted for ages, makes the Antonov,s of today look amateurs by comparison? Today's environmental lobby would have had blue fit.

I think that they operated weekly to Palma and were the fastest passenger jet ever at 600mph plus not counting Concord although the Tridents might have been a bit quicker, no doubt someone will put me right if that's incorrect.

Happy Days

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
