We hardly get any freight coming through LBA now-a-days, Then 2x ASL Boeing 737-400F's come at once just like the buses!

They were all horse related movements for the races at nearby Doncaster.

ASL Airlines - Boeing 737-400, OO-TNQ
TAY1476 = ETA 09:22 from Shannon
TAY1584 = ETD 10:18 to Paris Le Bourget
TAY705P = ETA 13:48 from Paris Le Bourget
TAY1477 = ETD 20:14 to Shannon

ASL Airlines - Boeing 737-400F, OE-IAU
TAY706P = ETA 18:45 from Edinburgh (Night Stop)

Wonder why they didn't use DSA? Not that I'm complaining

I saw one of them when I was departing yesterday, they didn’t quiet look at home!

And to make things better, at one point yesterday we had OE-IAU, G-GDFG, G-GDFM + another unidentified Jet2 737 all on the Multiflight apron at the same time!!

According to the FR24 display, Airbus 320 EC-MVF is being used on the Thomas Cook flight from Antalya this afternoon. Will it arrive in daylight for the photographers?

BH
It did, although this particular photographer was in Cookridge and not at LBA. I assume that would be the last Thomas Cook we will see now, unless they are still doing some of the winter charters? Perhaps they will be back in 2020. Lets hope so.

Thomas Cook have 2 remaining summer charters to operate yet. Saturday's Dalaman & Sunday's Antalya which are the very last of this years programme.
They are due to operate 3x Lapland charters for Specialist independent tour operator "Santa's Lapland" in December, up until last year these flights have being operated by Small Planet Airlines.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
