Does anyone have any idea when the updated summer schedule will appear. There’s a lot of people complaining of cancelled services to the likes of Toulouse and Vienna on social media. It would be quite annoying having booked a flight then have it cancelled then reappears wouldn’t it?

Its going to be contact Easyjet direct or see what comes up on the webb. Airlines are so much up in the air at the moment that im sure they dont know where they can fly to,also they dont want to release routes for them to cancel again.

Yes it will! I have just had my Seville flight cancelled for late April and a friend of mine has just had his Venice flights in June cancelled. Was wondering whether to book a week somewhere in August with EasyJet holidays but can’t see the point at this stage.

Try Jet2 they always say they got good prices for flight only. Also i think less chance of getting cancelled.

Michael O'Leary has axed most of Ryanair's UK flights until at least the last week in March. He says that continual changes of UK Government travel policy make it impossible for his airline to operate viably if they have to keep cancelling flights, so he has taken the decision to remove most of the UK programme from the booking engine for the next two and a half months.

Red Flyer says the missing easyJet flights will be restored once schedule changes have been made. The continuing uncertainty of so much connected with the virus is making life incredibly difficult for those in the aviation industry and 'events' industry, amongst many sectors.

Tonight on the local tv news there were suggestions that the Glastonbury Festival (BRS does well out of that) might not take place again this year because the organisers can't get virus-cancellation insurance. If vaccines are regarded by government as the panacea for the pandemic the vaccination of all UK adult residents* is not expected to be complete until the autumn.

We all have to hope that when the vaccination of all those over 50 has been rolled out which in terms of the first jab is anticipated by Easter that, together with the rising spring temperatures, there will be a big downturn in infections, deaths and hospital admissions in the UK that will allow the most severe restrictions to be lifted. That will hopefully help the aviation industry in a major way although the attitude of other countries will also play a part.

* in all age groups there will be those who for various reasons won't or can't accept a vaccination.

There are now 20x easyJet aircraft at BRS. Since last week another A319 and A320 have positioned into BRS meaning there are 7x A319, 11x A320 and 2x A321s based.

A319 (7)
Active (3) - G-EZAO/AX/DR
Stored (4) - G-EZAB/AS/AT/FI
-----------
A320 (11)
CEO
Active (3) - G-EZGY/TN/UO
Stored (4) - G-EZUL/WA/WY/WZ

NEO
Active (3) - G-UZHF/HO/HR
Stored (1) - G-UZHL
-----------
A321 (2)
Active (1) - G-UZMI
Stored (1) - G-UZMH

*NOTE* FlightRadar 24 shows 21x aircraft at BRS however it is incorrect by one aircraft. It shows A320 G-EZTV in BRS however this aircraft is actually in LGW.

For interest, other easyJet UK bases currently have the following number of aircraft based (active, stored and in maintenance).
*NOTE* 'Active' means having operated a commercial flight within the last 7 days.
LGW - 66 (32x active)
LTN - 24 (11x active)
BRS - 20 (10x active)
MAN - 15 (7x active)
LPL - 13 (5x active)
EDI - 10 (5x active)
BFS - 6 (6x active)
GLA - 5 (3x active)

All aircraft that were parked in SEN have now moved to other bases. 33x aircraft not counted in the list above are in other UK and European airports for maintenance or being readied to leave the easyJet UK fleet.

Am i right in thinking that the aircraft to leave the fleet are all A319.

There were six positioning flights plus two return trips to EDI and BFS today.
The movements were as follows:

A319 (G-EZAX) - BRS-BFS-BRS
A319 (G-EZDR) - BRS-EDI-BRS

A320 (G-EZTN) - BRS-LGW (EZY9012)
A320 (G-EZRX) - LGW-BRS (EZY9013)

A20N (G-UZHR) - BRS-LTN (EZY9009)
A20N (G-UZHO) - BRS-LTN (EZY9011)
A20N (G-UZHP) - LTN-BRS (EZY9008)
A20N (G-UZLK) - LTN-BRS (EZY9010)

With easyjet doing these extra routes and upgrade on others lets hope the covid 19 does not have much of a sting in its tail, and routes are operated that they have released and the same for other airlines as well.

Nice and Lyon will both be served primarily on away based aircraft - is easyJet reducing its based presence at Bristol ?

I can't find Toulouse or Basel in the web booking engine for the coming summer. Both are still showing a return next winter. Of the summer 2021 routes that 'disappeared' from the booking engine a few weeks ago Seville is shown as 'We don't fly direct from Bristol to Seville' when a booking is attempted.

TLS & BSL are both bookable for S21 on the App
