BE757 says proceed to gate and arrival of BE758 still shows as happening on airport website.

I agree BE756 shows as cancelled

I wonder if any LHR flights actually operated today?

I cant afford for Flybe to cancel my flight. Im hoping they will put me in a taxi to my hotel at Heathrow. If they cant reassure me I going to book the train.

Was on todays 1845, cancelled, rebooked to 1600 but doesn’t suit so rang and easily swapped to tomorrow. Service seems really good but aircraft rotation/reliability seems to be letting them down

Appalling is how I would describe their reliability.

Dispext mentioned this in an earlier post. He was booked on it. I suspect some consolidation is taking place.

BE755 LBA-LHR Operating
BE756 LHR-LBA Cancelled
BE757 LBA-LHR Cancelled
BE758 LHR-LBA Operating

This is prob what happened yesterday
Need to keep an eye on this.

Quite likely because there is still insufficient demand for three times daily, so as you say, consolidation occurring until there is.

Well if that's what they are doing they are basically sinking the route before it really got going. Knowing the flight you want might be cancelled due to lack of passengers why would you book in the first place?

It doesn't look good. They would be better operating two flights a day consistently than three with cancellations- for the reasons you give. I assume these can't be regular cancellations or they could have problems hanging onto the slot.

I personally like the idea of the early flight to LHR and immediate return coupled with a departure in the afternoon an extended period on the ground and late flight back. Seems to tick all the boxes but results in poor aircraft utilisation.

Im interested to see if they repeat the cancellation tomorrow.

Well there are plenty forum members who have been adamant that there are significant numbers people wanting to travel point to point.

I am not one of them tbh. I am afraid connections and codeshares are key. Point to point Leeds to London is much better served by LNER that either BA in the past or FlyBE now.

As you will have gathered from past posts, nor am I. Having said that sounds like rail union has just voted to strike so that could be a rabbit out of the hat.

When flybe announced Belfast and London from LBA i feel the best course of advertising would of been the local bbc look north and calender, but to my knowledge i never saw a thing, local TV news advertises to the masses, jet2 and others in the past have used local news to sell their product.
I've seen no real mass advertising of these flybe routes, the heathrow route would be an extremely popular route if people actually knew it was there!!

TV advertising is expensive. New Flybe may not have the budget for it but local news is a bit different and I'd expect is about how the airline PR engages with it and if it's interested in reporting it.

To not offer any alternative flight doesn't look very positive! Is this new route already in the process of being discontinued?

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
