Don't think the daily 777 will last long, it will probably change to A380 too
I will miss the B777 when it does end. Let's hope a third early morning service with the B77W can eventually be reinstated, as it was a few years ago. Great to have the A380 back though ( sorry CL44). A dedicated Cargo 777 would be good in the future.

Emirates Sky Cargo should operate to Birmingham imo
However the early morning service is possible as demand from Birmingham is absolutely soaring.
They will obviously be operated by the casual 777s unless emirates wants to go all out with A380s

for the record Emirates now have 7 out of 15 A380's in 615 seat configuration in service:-

A6-EUN, A6-EUP, A6-EUQ, A6-EUX, A6-EUY, A6-EVA & A6-EVB

A6-EUO has just been ferried from storage at DWC to DXB on the 21/12, so expect it to re-enter service in January, so that just leaves 1 RR Trent powered A380, A6-EUZ to re-enter service, which I guess will be the next one.

That just leaves the 6 older A380s, powered by the General Electric / Pratt & Whitney Engine Alliance GP7200 engines all stored at DWC:-

A6-EOP, A6-EOQ, A6-EOR, A6-EOS, A6-EOX, & A6-EOY

will these ever be returned back to service?

They certainly will be, because if their starting Operations to BHX again their gonna need 2 class A380s. If some go onto BHX, more 2 class A380s are needed to support other 2 class A380s. EUZ is definitely soon, leaving those A6-EO* 2 class A380s the ones being stored

Don’t forget those ones in storage they could fit out with their premium economy product if they wanted to.

Copenhagen which also used a 2 class version will also benreturning to 380 operations.

I think personally those will be the A6-EO* series of A380s

At Present there are 5 daily flights 2 MAN 2 LGW and Bangkok
Didn't Kuala Lumpur be a 2 class A380 route before? Its now changed to 3 class 777s and 3 class A380s

How many seats on 3 class ? I know 615 on 2 class, when a 3 class is used - not scheduled do they sell 1st class ? also are there premium economy 380’s ?
sorry for all the questions… but just thinking out loud etc

So now we get the A380 back in the summer.
There’s speculation of other new routes
Qatar
Saudia
Turkmenistan
Eastern airways.

Let’s keep it positive
Eastern…. Not heard that

Emirates Have specific planes they have premium economy on as of right now. That's obviously the ones that are most newest e.g A6-EV*. The 777s are also to get premium economy too, but again the newer ones are the one again getting premium economy being A6-EQ*

4 Class (ultra long-range) - 484 seats

3 Class (long-range) - 517 seats

3 Class (ultra long-range) - 489 seats

2 Class (long-range) - 615 seats
^^^^^^^^ This is for A380s

Ah well. It was good while it lasted. As for an EK 77F service into BHX whilst yes it would be nice they need to receive more frames (if memory serves me right they have 5 x new 77F on order with 10 x conversions from their own fleet due) to be able to offer any more growth on the freighter routes. The big question would be be if BHX is on the target list for this type of flight? LHR have 2 per week so would they be able to prise enough slots to build this to 3? Would MAN or GLA be the preferred option for a new freighter connection into the UK? Bearing in mind that MAN have 3 x 380 flights per day (so approx 27000 Kgs capacity where BHX will have 29000 Kgs split over 2 x flights! The Route planners will have to take a number of things into account before deciding on where to put these frames (not the least of which is where such a flight can make the most revenue)! While yes it is great the BHX has seen an increase in the number of freighter operations recently do we have enough to commit to a dedicated flight of this type at present? Another thing to think of is capacity with the Handling Agent for main deck operations. Yes it would be brilliant to see such a service start (and I do think it will happen) I think we need to bide our time and see what happens once the increase in the freighter fleet is available.

This Is a unpopular opinion but I've been thinking this in terms of cargo.
Emirates brings the morning EK41/42 Service again. I don't remember it these were operated by 3 class 777s or 2, but they will be great in cargo and also getting more passengers to use it

2 class as both LGW and MAN have a 3 class flight

Emirates only have a limited number of slots for LHR on cargo and alrady go to both EMA and STN on ad hoc

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
