It’s 3 class today too fwiw.
What on Earth does 'fwiw' mean?
Whenever 3 class aircraft have been used to BHX in the past (other than the short period when a third service with a first class was offered), the first class product has not been available to book. Therefore, a '3 class' aircraft probably represents fewer seats available than normal.

Exactly. Which is what I said for what it's worth for. Must mean something to someone to post it previously and I'm just continuing that trend.

I know full well first class isn't used. Either two class aircraft needed on denser route or tech / delayed somewhere in the Emirates fleet.

I don't get why your getting uppity with me unless I haven't had enough coffee and just reading into something that isn't there.

According to SeatGuru.com, EK 777-300's are configured as follows -

B777-300 3 class layout 1 - 8 first, 42 business, 304 economy

B777-300 3 class layout 2 - 8 first, 42 business, 310 economy

B777-300 2 class - 42 business, 385 economy

So, whilst it makes no difference to business class, the substitution of a 3 class B777-300 could lose up to 81 economy seats.

They been quite common to Birmingham recently, which may be indicating a lower demand
