Probably just peak summer reductions which is pretty normal because of reduced demand as much of Europe shuts down in July into August. Air France main line have practically disappeared recently with services operating by smaller capacity aircraft by Hop.

Back to Air India. FR24 shows A117D as departed currently due to head south of Moscow arriving around 15:24 and A117 operating as normal. The airport site doesn't show A117D and has A117 as cancelled meanwhile Ian's blog has just operating A117 operating normally and yesterday's flight as delayed so possibly two Air India today.

Summary FR24 says two, movementsblog says one BHX says zero!
Best wait and see.

Both seem to have been at BHX since the dawn of time. Last time I saw a picture of the Ex - S7 B737 Max, it had no engines.
I think the reason it had no engines is because the aircraft was on lease and repossessed, normally the engines are leased from the engine manufacturer so will return to them while the actual airframe is under a separate/concurrent lease.

Please don't mention Primera again!!. What a sad episode in BHX history. So much damage done, and still not recovered!. In relation to the A321, no, we never saw them, just the leased Nationair 757 rust bucket. In fact it was the late delivery of the A321 that sent Primera under.
Sorry. :censored: When I wrote the message I did think of the pain it may cause.

You are right the damage was immense.

Looks like C17 will happen Rzeszow departures show it departing to BHX at 14:50 and the BZZ feed gives arrival from BHX at 15:56 still no reg.detail.

There is also an RAF A332 at Rzeszow which looks like that may go to STN all to do with Putin no doubt.

According to Ian's bhxmovementsblog Air India A1114 VT-ANP went tech. on Monday and is still on the ground, they had a long delay last week as well 🙄

A1113 from Delhi is showing due in today as normal.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
