Just a random bit of info via. Ian's blog.

Over at Elmdon the G/A area looking particularly busy today with six business jets night stopped from yesterday plus another twelve aircraft due in during the day mostly jet types the largest being a Carpatair F100 from Nice departing later to Seville. There's not many F100's around these days.

No doubt there will be additional arrivals during the day. Good to see the old Elmdon site busy with Frieght, G/A, military and of course STS.

Adds variety of types to BHX breaking up the flow of mostly 737' and A320 types

Following a post on the TUI thread yesterday TUI are up the creek without a paddle again with five positioning movements yesterday and a 737H gone tech.

Yesterday they had one of there 788s positioning in from MAN operated Alicante then back to MAN, a Privilege 772 positioning in from Madrid and operated Burgas. Meanwhile a Getjet A320 operated a rescue to Naples ( consequence of Italian strikes or the tech737? )

The Sunclass Airlines A321 is operating for them today to Mahon.

What a mess they just seem to be fire fighting from day to day, are the German or Scandinavian arms in a similar mess I wonder?

Just taken off. Good timing and Good luck to the Villa. From a bluenose. No silly rivalry from me....unless we play you and thrash you into oblivion. as if ...

Did Primera ever fly to the states in their A321? Such a bad memory for us all, the details all but erased.

Please don't mention Primera again!!. What a sad episode in BHX history. So much damage done, and still not recovered!. In relation to the A321, no, we never saw them, just the leased Nationair 757 rust bucket. In fact it was the late delivery of the A321 that sent Primera under.

I see the now ex Hans A330 departed today after nearly eleven months after it turned up.
HiFly now the proud owners new reg. 9H-HFY.

Hans weren't even a one season wonder.
Would have they been better buying the ex TCX A330's that had IFE and Premium Economy and Economy all they would have to have done is Retrim them and full Cabin Refurb and Repaint

Yep I know I'm an expert I'm afraid at fat finger syndrome. 😊

I usually only put registrations on for those who like to know didn't mean to mislead anyone, registrations do not interest me these days spotting days long gone.

The airport arrival board and the movementsblog both show todays Air India cancelled also the same yesterday, does anyone know why or have I missed something?

I'm not sure. FR24 shows both yesterdays Air India arrival and departure as cancelled.
Today, it is showing 2 arrivals from ATQ (both as AI117), one at 15:30 as 'scheduled' and the other at 15:39 as 'estimated'.
There is also a flight from DEL at 18:15 showing as 'cancelled'.
Only one outbound to ATQ at 19:45 is showing as 'cancelled'.

[EDIT] - Ian's blog is showing yesterday's Air India service as delayed until today. Windy.com is showing widespread and fairly severe thunderstorms across northern and central India.

Does anyone know why so many Brussels and Copenhagen flights have been cancelled in recent weeks?.
Both routes must be giving potential passengers little confidence to book flights?.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
