RYANAIR CELEBRATES 15 MILLION PASSENGERS AT LEEDS BRADFORD AIRPORT

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, today (10 Aug) celebrated carrying it’s 15 millionth passenger at Leeds Bradford Airport. Ryanair first began operating to/from Leeds Bradford Airport in 1989 with its first flight to Ireland West Knock Airport.

Since then, the airline has grown to become one of Leeds Bradford Airport’s biggest carriers operating a record schedule for Summer ’23, with over 186 weekly flights across 24 routes, incl. 2 new routes to Porto and Perpignan for Summer ’23, connecting 8 countries with its 3 based aircraft – $300m investment, and supporting over 1,100 local jobs.

To celebrate 15 million passengers at Leeds Bradford Airport and its record schedule for Summer ‘23, the airline has launched a special seat sale with fares from £29.99 available only at Ryanair.com.

Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Jade Kirwan said:
“We are delighted to celebrate 15 million Ryanair passengers through Leeds Bradford Airport. Ryanair has operated at Leeds Bradford Airport since 1989 and our record Summer ’23 schedule of over 186 weekly flights across 24 routes not only provides our Yorkshire customers/visitors with an unbeatable selection of sunny hotspots and vibrant European city break destinations for their Summer ’23 getaways, particularly across Bratislava, Paris-Beauvais, Limoges, Porto, Perpignan, Zadar, and more, where we operate exclusively to/from Leeds Bradford Airport, but continues to promote important regional development through the support of over 1,100 local jobs and delivery of even greater connectivity with Europe and its millions of holidaymakers.
To celebrate this significant milestone, we have launched a special seat sale with fares from £29.99 available only at Ryanair.com.”

Nicola McMullen, Aviation Director at Leeds Bradford Airport, added:
“It’s fantastic to reach this milestone and celebrate a strong partnership that has lasted over three decades. Ryanair continues to deliver incredible destinations that appeal to our passengers at accessible prices. We look forward to celebrating continued success for many years to come.

Hope this is the right thread..We are flying at silly O Clock to FUE on Monday. First time with hold luggage on Ryanair. We are checking in on line but hope someone can advise on how you check in bags..ie can you go straight to a bag drop or do you have to use one of their machines first..If so, how exactly do they work? ..All advice appreciated..Thanks

It's that time of year again that Ryanair are messing with the schedules

The Leeds to Bratislava & Paris Beauvais routes no longer on sale for the whole of the winter 2023/24 season.
Both routes were due to operate 2x weekly Fridays & Sundays but the last flights depart November 5th 2023 and look to recommence from March 15th 2024.

Cant believe Bratislava had been curtailed.

Just an observation of our flight on Monday with Ryanair to FUE... excellent flight and for the money a bargain...after about 3 hrs though the seats are challenging but crew were excellent and I'd heard from inside the trade that they were recruiting local cabin crew now..That was the case on our flight, 3 female and No1 was male, all sounded local very helpful and pleasant...Jet2 rubbing off on them?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
