Not sure Hop would be classed as a flag carrier though anyway, any more than Eurowings are in Germany.

Near enough though as they interline with their parent airlinesNot sure Hop would be classed as a flag carrier though anyway, any more than Eurowings are in Germany.
They do but that doesn't make them a flag carrier even if they are a subsidiary airline. It's Air France and Lufthansa that have that honour .Near enough though as they interline with their parent airlines
The problem with Beauvais though its almost nearer the channel than Paris. I flew in to there once, must be nearly 30 years ago on Airtours out of Manchester, the coach ride in to Paris seemed like an eternity, have the links improved any in recent years anyone??Looks like Jet2 are giving Ryanair a fight on the Leeds - Paris service next summer 2024, with a total of 8x weekly flights operating between the pair.
Ryanair - Paris Beauvais remains 3x weekly with change of days (Mon, Thu & Sat)
Jet2 - Paris Cdg additional Tue flight, Increases from 4x to 5x weekly (Mon-Tue, Thu-Fri & Sun)
There's train link as well. The problem with Beauvais though its almost nearer the channel than Paris. I flew in to there once, must be nearly 30 years ago on Airtours out of Manchester, the coach ride in to Paris seemed like an eternity, have the links improved any in recent years anyone??

RYANAIR ANNOUNCES LEEDS BRADFORD WINTER 23/24 SCHEDULE
3 BASED AIRCRAFT ($300M INVEST.) & 14 ROUTES INCLUDING
NEW WINTER SUN ROUTE TO PORTO
Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (12th Oct) announced its Winter 23/24 schedule for Leeds Bradford with 14 routes, including its new Porto route, as well as increased frequencies on another 4 routes, including Alicante, Dublin, Malaga and Tenerife.
To support its Winter 23/24 schedule, Ryanair will base 3 aircraft at Leeds Bradford Airport, representing a $300m investment and supporting over 1,100 local jobs.
Ryanair’s Leeds Bradford Winter 23/24 schedule will deliver:
Ryanair is the UK’s No.1 airline, operating over 440 routes and carrying over 52m passengers p.a. to/from the UK on its fleet of 107 UK-based aircraft ($10.7bn investment), providing British citizens/visitors with unbeatable route choice at the lowest fares while driving year-round connectivity and inbound tourism which supports over 37,000 UK jobs.
- 3 based aircraft (incl 1 Gamechanger)
- $300m investment
- 14 routes, incl. 1 new route to Porto
- Supporting over 1,100 local jobs, incl. 90 highly paid aviation jobs
- Leeds Bradford traffic to grow to 1.4m passengers p.a.
While Ryanair continues to invest and grow in Britain, UK NATS ATC remains the biggest risk to passengers’ travel plans. Ryanair pays NATS almost €100m p.a. for an ATC service that is repeatedly short-staffed and, on 28th Aug, collapsed altogether, causing the cancellation of over 2,000 flights (over 360,000 passengers) and long delays to more than 5,000 flights (900,000 passengers) without plausible explanation. NATS followed this latest shambles with more flight disruptions at Gatwick due to staff shortages. Ryanair calls again on Transport Minister, Mark Harper, to immediately instruct NATS (where the UK Govt owns a majority) to reimburse all its airline customers for the costs they suffered due to NATS incompetence on 28 Aug last and urgently reform UK ATC to ensure that such avoidable system collapses do not recur.
To celebrate Ryanair’s Winter schedule at Leeds Bradford Airport and its new Porto route, the airline has launched a limited-time seat sale with fares from just £19.99, which must be booked by 14th Oct 2023, available only at www.ryanair.com.
Ryanair’s Director of Digital & Marketing, Dara Brady, said:
“Ryanair is pleased to announce our Winter 23/24 schedule at Leeds Bradford Airport, with 14 routes including a new winter sun route to Porto, as well as increased frequencies on another 4 winter sun and city break routes, offering Ryanair customers in the wider Yorkshire and Humber region unbeatable choice at the lowest fares. This schedule will operate on Ryanair’s 3 based aircraft at Leeds Bradford Airport, representing a €300m investment and supporting over 1,100 local jobs. This includes, for the first winter at Leeds Bradford, the quieter, lower-emission “Gamechanger” aircraft.
Ryanair is the UK’s No.1 airline, and while we continue to grow and provide unbeatable route choice and low fares to our 52m p.a. UK customers, NATS are busy writing “whitewash” reports to cover up their inexplicable incompetence, which led to the cancellation of over 2,000 flights (over 360,000 passengers) and long delays to more than 5,000 flights (900,000 passengers) on Mon 28/Tues 29 Aug last.
Ryanair calls on Transport Minister, Mark Harper, and the UK Govt to urgently reform ATC and guarantee UK passengers that they will not suffer any more disruptions as a result of repeated NATS failures, mismanagement & incompetence.”

To a degree though I'm certain that Faro will be operating with several flights. May be just sorting out what's happening with aircraft based elsewhere.Maybe they’re waiting to see how the late delivery of the Max pans out before committing to further flights.
13x ALC is spot on for myself!!13X weekly ALC is amazing!
