Out of interest does anyone know if our batch of winds are causing any delays to current construction work? Seriously hoping for much improved weather through the rest of this winter not only to recover diversions but so there is no risk of delays to this terminal work. Would be a shame is max use wasn't in place until 2027? Is there any contingency built in to the current 2026 do we know?

Whilst passing the airport what appeared to be more work units/cabins were been delivered. Wind is horrendous up in yeadon this morning!

Had construction been underway involving scaffold etc., then it might have caused delays , but with ground works I can't imagine it will cause any significant problems.

No cranes involved just yet so it will be business as usual.

A large area of earth has been dug to a depth of ~3ft and the dirt looks to have been moved off-site. Not sure if this is a levelling of the ground or the start of the foundations (or both).

Nothing much happened in the last week or so, but the piling rig is on a flatbed waiting to be removed. Presumably waiting for police escort

Registered Members:-

• A maximum media gallery upload size of 10MB per item uploaded
• A maximum image dimension of 1280x720 (720p)
• A maximum number of forum attachments at 5

You have reached your limit on attachments without removing one of your older attachments to free up space.

For the media gallery you must adhere to the size restrictions. Mobile phone images have become far too large for us to allow them without reducing the sizes.

If you have already reduced the pixel size to within the requirements but it still won't upload you could try a JPEG rather that PNG file as the latter is usually larger.

Two of your attachments appear to be the same, and one of your others is similar.

That is always an option but so long as the guidelines are followed you should be able to do it here without a problem.

I have deleted two images from my media and it still will not work. The image is well below the file size and image dimensions restriction.
Error message: "You have reached your maximum number of allowed attachments".

I have managed to do it through flickr.

Here was I expecting to see the groundworks for the Terminal extension when I flew out on Tuesday without realising it is still dark at 5am.
Better luck in 3 weeks time when I fly out in the afternoon.

It covers a surprisingly large area when you see it in the flesh, so to speak. As it’ll be on three levels the sheer size of the development including the reworking of the current terminal cannot be under stated. It’s going to be huge!
