It’s Houchens team just bulling stuff up as usual….this is a more balanced article and paints a very different picture. Reading between the lines passenger numbers and airlines remain well below projections (he did promise a low cost carrier base would be operational by now) and they have and will have continued difficulties attracting them. Emphasis seems to be switching away from passenger routes to cargo and ancillary aviation activities….Hence the need for a new strategic review…

This is what they said about jet2…..so in essence they are taking to them as no doubt every other airport in the UK not currently served by jet2 are…..
