Maybe I misread but it appeared to me as though you were implying that he was trying to get the government to scrap APD so that he could fly from DSA, but the nuances in his language suggested he’s got no interest in DSA. Apologies if I misunderstood.

Only twice weekly to TFS!! Wow, very underwhelming.

Compared to x5 weekly in winter, yep I must agree.

Perhaps its because they can fill their planes on shorter routes in summer which in turn saves on fuel costs?

Have you not been following what is going on in the Canary Islands? Only just a few weeks ago the Jet2 boss blasted Spanish officials about the Spanish treatment towards tourists. He said customers were looking elsewhere to friendlier places like Morocco and Turkey. He followed that by announcing more flights to Morocco. Now I know Ryanair used pulled their Moroccan flights but their reduction could be for similar reasons?

The way the Spaniards are treating tourists is insane considering without them they have nothing.

Yes I have but to be fair our Summer TFS has always been x2 weekly, maybe 3 but 5 in winter, I would of thought a Summer increase was on the cards. Always surprised LPA never came back with FR. especially for Winter.

Just a few I think FR would be successful with:
LPA, RMU, BGO, PFO, BCN, MAD.

There's a post #1435 on the BHX Ryanair thread by BHX492 who has the inside track- regulatory issue with the CAA regarding RUK routes should be resolved soon,

Any update on the resolution on this issue?

Looks like the CAA are not playing ball as they have previously, can't say for sure but at BHX the eleven lost weekly flights have been replaced by an additional ten to the usual suspects of AGB,ALC, DUB and the like
so I assume similar fo other airports.
