Leeds Forumers Meet Up Sunday 20th July from 1400

Hi everyone. Genuine question that needed taking away from the Route Development & Rumours thread that is: who is genuinely interested in trying to get a few of us together and put faces to names etc? It's easy to get carried away on the emotions and spur of the moment things but I am happy to try and arrange something if there is enough genuine interest. Appreciate that some are not local and it may prove difficult for others and also unlikely to find a time and place that suits everyone, but happy to give it a go if the interest is there. If you do reply, or PM me, then give me an idea of location and days/ times that would work best for you and I will see what we can do.

There are a few on here that already meet at the Multiflight Cafe at 1300 on a Saturday every two weeks. Next one is10May if that is also a starting point for anyone. That should be a date I am actually able to attend as I don't get there every time.

I am up for it but I can't do Friday or Saturday. Can certainly recommend the Brewhouse on Yeadon High Street which some of us on here frequent already

Yes Brewhouse Yeadon is a great venue. Only been once after a Northern Soul evening at the Town Hall. Damn expensive Uber back to Bingley mind you!

Either a Saturday or Sunday is good for me. Sadly I can’t do weekdays due to work commitments and some weekends when the Yorkshire CCC have a home t/20 game at Headingley.

Yes, that was my suggestion too. Parking is free but now, you have to put your registration number into a tablet inside the doorway. On the downside, there isn't much real ale choice and beer isn't that cheap. The food is though and it's usually ok.

They serve the biggest ever deserts in h. Farm though, one slice does 2 people!

Thanks to those that have replied so far. Currently it's looking like a Sunday, probably afternoon, at either Hawthorn Farm or Brewhouse Yeadon. The latter could prove tricky for anyone needing to drive. So perhaps HF it is with an adjournment to BH if anyone wants to continue. Just got to find a convenient date now and think a decent bit of notice is best for all concerned as we all have busy lives
