Would be nice to see something like Rhodes get a frequency increase. They might add more to Dalaman as well.TUI SUMMER 2026
After looking through the schedule there’s supposedly 3 gaps left with all the increases and new routes currently
Tuesdays AM and PM
Sundays AM
This is presuming FAO & HRG are 1 weekly and the extra ATY is not currently showing
Any thoughts on what could be filled as of current? Obviously there’s still months to see. I reckon the Tuesday PMI may turn into W pattern.
do we know when the new routes will be released?TUI SUMMER 2026

Cardiff Airport - TUI boosts capacity at Cardiff Airport for Summer 2026

TUI has today announced a further major expansion at Cardiff Airport with new routes added to its flying programme, as […]
cardiff-airport.com
At the moment there's no gap on Saturdays for Hurghada.Hurghada will potentially be 1p/w as well. Launching on the 2nd of May which is a Saturday. Whether that launch date implies the first flight I’m not sure.
I thought DLM was Friday evening after ATY. If so that leaves Saturday PM for the proposed HRG launchI completely forgot about Hurghada!
At the moment there's no gap on Saturdays for Hurghada.
The gaps are Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
I expect Faro will take up the Thursday morning slot. That potentially leaves Friday evening or Tuesdays for Hurghada.
You're right it is, i made a mistake. Read the website wrong.I thought DLM was Friday evening after ATY. If so that leaves Saturday PM for the proposed HRG launch

There's potentially a gap on Tuesday afternoons after Alicante. Another option is the route starting in April as there's a slot in April on Thursday afternoons. Personally I think that could be the most likeliest option.Thinking about Faro, I imagine that’s a route that could become year round. I’m pretty sure there’s spare availability between the two winter aircraft.
As its winter then it would be a ski route. I can't see them doing Turin but then again I didn't see Salzburg being a route. Maybe a wildcard and could only be done in December but I'd love to see them do Kittila as a santa route.I would love a sneaky Italian route to be squeezed in there.
Verona would be a summer route though for Lakes and Mountains holidays.Verona would open up the Dolomiti region?
I wouldn't be surprised if the aircraft on Tuesdays will do a W pattern to another airport.Good news, Faro 2 weekly will push TUI up to 53 weekly flights, with two empty slots on a Tuesday to fill.
Also they have to find routes for the 4th aircraft! They sacrificed Faro before so another route could go 2 weekly if I remember correctly.I can imagine this is a response from the FR partnership. TUI will have seen the booking rates on the packages they offer with FR, and can see the demand is worth operating their own schedule with longer forward booking lead in times than FR can offer, making this a relatively low risk move on their part
