If Delta do anything from BHX it wont be to MCO. I would expect it to be in to Atlanta, from whence you can get to all of the Floridian airports subject to your specific requirements, with one of many flights to all of them every day. Or, indeed, pretty much anywhere else in the US.
Wouldn't disagree re Atlanta but NYC is probably the No.1 US destination and not exactly badly connected to North America.

Still think Delta is unlikely but never say never.

Is it needed? Mid afternoon into Dubai not the best connections at that time unless they are attempting to get the Indian market on that flight?

Back in 2024 it was Cathay Pacific and finnair that were rumoured to be in talks with bhx.

Now I think Norwegian -Helsinki at least 3/4 weekly would be a great addition for winter at bhx.

Apparently according to T.Screen on LinkedIn he’s saying hopefully more to come from wizz air.Im not being dramatic but I think bringing back routes like Wroclaw,Gdansk,Cluj and possibly Tirana would be very beneficial for passenger numbers.

Air India are getting a 789 delivered winter 2025 could we see Mumbai or an additional frequency on either Amritsar or Delhi

Discussions about a US route happening but I get the impression there is still a way to go before anything happens.

Apparently according to T.Screen on LinkedIn he’s saying hopefully more to come from wizz air.Im not being dramatic but I think bringing back routes like Wroclaw,Gdansk,Cluj and possibly Tirana would be very beneficial for passenger numbers.

I think post Brexit we took a bit of a hit on Eastern European services and the Wizz aircraft issues haven't helped but hopefully things are starting to bounce back a little.

Wizz have big potential for away based routes, hopefully utilising the quieter periods in the terminals. Definitely one to keep an eye on :)

A contact tells me they are considering bringing the third BHX service back.
But it would appear the Manchester fourth service is further advanced as times are known.
I knew they had something going on with the morning service, considering there’s a high amount of 2 class 777s that are vacant, and the loads for BHXs being extremely well.

They are? I wish someone would make up their mind. I'm sure I read on here recently that the loads are not good and now they are good.

I can't keep up.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
