There's 1 flight from Rome FCO for the Italy game so far. I'd expect its likely to be the Italy team but would be good if it was a fan charter.
12/3/26
16.25 Enter Air Rome Fiumicino ENT559

Looks like it is indeed the Italy team charter as its arriving two days before the game. There's another Enter Air B737 heading in the opposite direction on Sunday 15th. 👍

2027 Six Nations fixtures are out
France v Wales is on 6/2/27
Scotland v Wales is on 13/2/27
Wales v Ireland on 20/2/27
Wales v England 6/3/27
Italy v Wales 13/3/27

The big airlifts will be the Ireland and Italy game but hopefully the airport will be able to persuade airlines like Air France and Loganair to operate some flights for the France and Scotland games.

Suspect we'll barely see any flights to Paris or Edinburgh, more likely a handful of charters to Rome, thats if 2025 was anything to go by.

Otherwise the biggest weekend will be Irish game, with additional flights from Aer Lingus and Ryanair, possibly the odd charter here and there too. All depends on how successful the take up has been over the last two years.

We can only hope and see what the airport and airlines can arrange.

At this early stage Gulliver's Travel have already got Italy v Wales on their books including direct flights from CWL but they aren't available to book just yet. I suspect they may add Scotland and France soon enough.

Italy v Wales packages including flights from Cardiff released by Mynt Travel and Sam Smith Travel too.

I thought Wonky Sheep only did football trips when Wales play away? I stand corrected if I'm wrong in my thought 🙂

Maybe they're branching out?

Wonky Sheep already have packages for these games but they are all via LHR (if you mean the away matches...you haven't made it clear which matches you mean). Being realistic I can't see SAS or Norwegian putting on charters for Wales away matches. As for the home games we'll just have to wait and see.

That's a shame they're not using KLM from Cardiff or have a dedicated charter. As for SAS it would be more likely they'd put on flights for Danish and Norwegian fans.

Good to see the Dragons having their own charter to Parma tomorrow to Parma for European Cup match against Zebre Amelia International E190. returns pm Sunday.

Surprised that they're flying from Cardiff! Usually fly from Bristol.

Special visitor later on Neos are bringing in Roma FC for a friendly against Cardiff City

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
