Athens wasn’t listed, it may have been in the initial report but not the confirmed. Re Cork, it is 60 movements over the summer, so perhaps a later start date.

And this is Ryanair; with the UK-IRL market as it is; one would imagine they would be able to fill to a level they are happy with at short notice putting on sale.

Sixty movements over the summer at 2 flights/week, indicates a season of 15 weeks. It could be Spring Bank Holiday to first week in September, so better get it on sale!

Faro is down to 4X weekly for the last 2 weeks of April with the Thursday flight not operating. Rest of the schedule seems intact. It's worth noting this has been in the system for at least a few weeks

Not the first time he has suggested Wizz are on borrowed time but as Ryanair's biggest direct competitor, its hardly surprising is it? What better way to get people to book Ryanair rather than Wizz on routes where they compete, such as LBA - Bucharest or Warsaw. And of course, such a drop in bookings at a time like this could accelerate any decline in an airline's fortunes. Clever but below the belt.

I do recall though that he claimed Jet2 would go bust some years back. Not his best forecast!

Something tells me quite a few flights will have to be rescheduled or axed.

Especially a 2345 arrival on Thursday from Alicante. Not happening if we have the overnight closure enforce.

A real shame, you would think Agadir would have been good for one measly flight per week. I wonder if it will return fir next summer?

Without being too much of a doom mongerer, there may be world events outside of our control that may also cause axing of flights, even before W26/27. Hope I am wrong but we need to be prepared for such eventualities

It's LBAs decision to close overnight in winter, not the council so nothing they can do about it. LBA still has a winter night movement allowance of 1200 movements. Admittedly, if the CLEUD fails and if the council were stupid enough to enforce it, then a 2345 arrival would have to be a 738, not a MAX.

As far as I know, there will be further runway repairs overnight this winter, but the closure time to enable this is agreed between airport and contractor. That said, Ryanair have previously changed their schedules and no doubt will again.

O'Leary doesn't care, he uses everyone as a foil for his publicity..In reality him and Phil Meeson were good friends..Gotta love him though , some of his speeches on You Tube are absolutely hilarious
