Hence why I put those punctuation marks in
Punctuation marks do not elucidate, in fact they may achieve the opposite. Please explain in simple terms ( as we are simple folk) your factual message. We, on this forum, are all keen to learn about an incident that has occurred at BHX recently. However, I live 10,000 miles away and do not wish to trawl the internet in the hope of identifying something which may tally with your unreadable post.

Hi,

I would perceive his post would be in relation with this livestream, with the timestamp being attached. It shows a RYR 737 MAX 8200. In my opinion, it just seems like your regular missed approach, perhaps due to being maybe a bit unstable due to the gusts of Storm Dave but this is nothing to write home about 🤷‍♂️

Anyone know why Air India and SAS diverted?. Was it the brief thunderstorm that passed through at around 5pm?.

Gloomy outlook today and for the forseable with non ops.today as far as I can see.

In no particular order :

LHH three Frankfurt cancelled down to a single A320.
Eurowings Dusseldorf one cancelled
Sunwings todays flight cancelled
Saudi cancelled
Vueling cancelled
Turkish one cancelled
Emirates 777 still not running

The above is not meant to be comprehensive and at least KLM and AF are currently holding up and Qatar in today

Tough times with little light at the end of the tunnel as it stands.

The sooner this ordeal is over the better, but for the foreseeable i can imagine much of the same continuing until a resolution is found!

- Conflict in India/Pakistan
- Air India Crash
- Iran Crisis

It would be nice to have a boring and uneventful 12 month period at some point!

Surprised about SVA being cancelled. They were running normally even while the conflict was going on?

I did see EK 777 returning 1st of May… if that’s still going ahead I do not know.

I imagine the cost and availability of aviation fuel is likely the biggest factors, not the direct conflict itself.

Yes, it caused chaos. So many passengers disrupted and aircraft out of position for today's ops.
The storm seemed almost stuck over BHX for hours!.

Air crew would be out of hours so coaching is the only option. Much easier from BHX. But I wonder why it diverted in the first place. Crew hours most likely.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
