Birmingham: EasyJet Flights, New Routes & Base Updates

Use this prefix for new threads for Birmingham Airport
Here’s a table showing all UK EasyJet bases (as of summer 2026) and their available routes. I’ve highlighted routes from Birmingham Airport (BHX) in orange and those easyJet might start from BHX in the future in green, based on other bases already offering a route there.

That is great summary and the only logical way of predicting potential new routes, I agree those in green all make perfect sense, it just depends if Easyjet has a plan to keep growing at BHX or will there have to be a cap on based units due to lack of parking at BHX ?
I would hope BHX will ensure they address the issue of parking if there is clear plan to increase the number of based units.

I’m not able to share too much detail, but easyJet at BHX is looking to add more aircraft, though the number of new routes will be limited as they are increasing the frequency of existing ones. Subject to ramp space

Been looking with someone about winter routes what needs expanding or exploring

Are easyJet and Ryanair fighting battles between each other for demand and capacity for Paris for example Ryanair has 5 weekly and EasyJet has 10 weekly.Air France has 3 daily. We basically have 36 weekly every week which is 5/6 flights per day

Rome served by EasyJet,Ryanair,Wizz air and Jet2 all low cost .Why such big demand.Great route in my opinion.EasyJet 2 weekly better at 4 weekly like summer
Rome is served by currently 16 weekly which is incredible considering it was 4 weekly over a year ago.

Amsterdam No issue because there healthy a connection airport which could do with more frequencies but not urgent .Served 50 weekly which is 6/7 daily flights.

Where would you lot recommend a new route to.So many opportunities

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
