Nor Athens I assume.Considering summer 2026 starts in 2 weeks and it’s not on sale, I doubt this one will materialise

Not the first time he has suggested Wizz are on borrowed time but as Ryanair's biggest direct competitor, its hardly surprising is it? What better way to get people to book Ryanair rather than Wizz on routes where they compete, such as LBA - Bucharest or Warsaw. And of course, such a drop in bookings at a time like this could accelerate any decline in an airline's fortunes. Clever but below the belt.A few more as well….View attachment 33379
A real shame, you would think Agadir would have been good for one measly flight per week. I wonder if it will return fir next summer?Had a brief look. Seems to be 63X weekly flights - not disappointed (no Agadir though, would have liked to see it)
Without being too much of a doom mongerer, there may be world events outside of our control that may also cause axing of flights, even before W26/27. Hope I am wrong but we need to be prepared for such eventualitiesSomething tells me quite a few flights will have to be rescheduled or axed.

Especially a 2345 arrival on Thursday from Alicante. Not happening if we have the overnight closure enforce.
O'Leary doesn't care, he uses everyone as a foil for his publicity..In reality him and Phil Meeson were good friends..Gotta love him though , some of his speeches on You Tube are absolutely hilariousNot the first time he has suggested Wizz are on borrowed time but as Ryanair's biggest direct competitor, its hardly surprising is it? I do recall though that he claimed Jet2 would go bust some years back. Not his best forecast!
Id say questions have to be asked about the type of person that would drink alcohol at 0500-0600, i could not think of anything worse, and society in general now, you only have to look around and see whats happening in this country, a total breakdown thats for sure! To basically get drunk at 5am then jump on a plane and cause disruption, poor upbringing id say!Interesting couple of posts on the Dff. First one is MOL stating FR are having to divert once a day, up from once a week a decade ago, due to bad behaviour on board. Going on to say why are airports serving alcohol at 0500 and 0600.
A fantastic reply says "asking the wrong question there" going on to say what should be being asked is "why are airports having to maximise/increase revenue from other things?"
I agree with the 2nd poster because I am sorry Mr O'Leary, but you can't have your cake and eat it!
And making this LBA relevant, they are in no different a situation where landing/handling/operating fees are potentially squeezed to the bone by the LCC's, meaning any potential revenue stream is invaluable and for any franchise operating within an airport they too are going to maximise their own revenue streams. Cheers all!
