Why are they talking about the rail halt? That's a separate scheme?! Especially when the meeting going so long anyway ha

All these councilors have absolutely no knowledge or understanding whatsoever, LBA management i feel have been weak today, they must get the key facts across and try bring this meeting to a conclusion, with the lack of knowledge these councilors have they have no choice but to reject the plans.

Meeting adjourned for 5 minutes, restarting at 8.30pm. Would agree with LBA4EVER, the airport have not pushed there side of the case hard enough and the new Airport Director in his speak appeared weak reading parrot fashion off a script. No where I have I heard the airport saying this not expansion but redevelopment of the terminal. Only very rarely have I heard about the previously approved planning application which would give the same overall result but in an unfriendly way. The airport needs to be proactive with its case otherwise this is going to be rejected.

Do these people seem to forget that the council owned the airport 20 years ago? This is there doing. God I've got a god damn good list of who will be receiving an email and what they will get after this. This dipstick been the first on the list.

Having watched the previous meetings, I don't believe there has been any change in views from councillors. There are one or two councillors that appear to be missing and their views are little known if they are still taking part.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
