@LBA4EVER So with all the talk of the capabilities of the LEAP engines Jet2 are purchasing, it would seem additional concrete must be back on the cards if this becomes an obstacle for the airport. As per what has been mentioned previously, this doesn't necessarily have to mean a runway extension as such, but a starter extension on the Horsforth end would benefit departing traffic on 32 and landing traffic on runway 14. I'm going scarper now.....

I've passed my runway extension bug onto you haha

Or move the whole airport to DSA! What was that you were saying about scarpering @Aviador
But then you have a whole different bunch of things to complain about such as the lack of catchment area, the fight against neighbouring Manchester and East Midlands taking all the business and cargo. The rejection of BA, Qantas and Virgin etc etc

Trust me, and I am sure I am not alone, but I would be in DSA with a rope doing all I could to drag our beloved LBA back to it's spiritual home. Anyway that won't be necessary as LBA is staying and any comments I have made are very tongue in cheek (just in case anyone hadn't worked that out) and aimed at a couple of separate groups on here who are very anti LBA

Either that or @Bigman s idea which is a stick of dynamite for the top of the Chevin.
Yes a few sticks of dynamite at the top of the chevin, a 600metre runway extension then towards the chevin and a 2nd tunnel for cemetery rd so there is a big enough gap between the runway and those RIP, sorted haha

according to some people, you only need 1 day in each of the Yorkshire Dales, North Wales and Lake District "to have seen it all". Which is why its minibus tour number 3 this year of the Yorkshire Dales for me on 16th October. Different routes and different things to see each tour.
Apologies for any issues today, I was planning on updating the site but sadly something went wrong so the upgrade has been postponed. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your kind donation to our running costs Jenny.
I've done 2 minibus tours with Mountain Goat this week. Monday was North York Moors with over 600 photos and today High Adventure in the Lakes with 750. photos. Slightly snap happy.
I've asked Gareth Southgate for the winning lottery numbers. He said 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
