If LBA want to replace the terminal with new on the same site could it be rejected? So if they want a replacement terminal on a different site, yet
on their own ground, could it be rejected? The proposal isn't vastly different in size, height etc so why would anyone seek to object? On what grounds?

Because wrapped up in the application is the change to daytime flying hours and they know the terminal will better enable real growth, so rejection will stop that. These councillors were pro airport in 2019, approving the terminal extension that served the same purpose but it seems that they have been pressurised by the 5 MPs into doing what they can to reverse the decision they made by saying no, for political reasons. They are unfit to represent this city.

Decision is now due early in the new year
Apologies on the negative first post but this needs to be highlighted.

I’m sure LBA management will be happy to see sensitive information has been posted on this forum.

Unfortunately it’s not the first time this user has done this with previous around the new terminal development prior to announcement.

As an employee of one of LBA’s business partners, I will be making them aware of these posts.

Isnt it an open knowledge Superleeds123 in the airport community? Everyone knows at the airport and what harm does it do?
I'm just wondering why a new member and 'business partner' would be so concerned about this?
I wasnt even aware of other posts by quick123 but it appears you are.

I am always careful what I say but about my work but why are you so concerned? This is a friendly forum not an Orwellian big brother checking system. And I don't like subtle threats to other forum members ....very strange from a 'business partner', none that I know could be bothered.

@Superleeds123 The LBA management are fully aware of this forum. If they have a specific objection to a particular post I am sure they would approach us.

Knowing when the decision might be made is not going to influence the outcome in any way whatsoever.
Thanks for the clarification Aviador.

Not trying to threaten anyone just highlighting the need for care on some subjects, so apologies if it comes across that way.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
