Hello,
Please could someone give me some information about the Air asia terminal at KL? We are using them for the 1st time this August, flying from London, then connecting (hopefully!) to bali.
What are the facilities like for transit passengers? Are there any lounges you can pay to use? Are there any showers or a hotel you can book for short stays?
We have about 4 hours each way as I was concerned about connection times but I'm worried it's going to be a bit grim!
Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

The LCCT is actually the old airport and it takes around 20 minutes by bus to the new terminal. There is a bus station downstairs that is easy to find. The buses run about every 1/2 hour It's recommendable to allow a good hour. The fare was cheap. People generally recommend that you only take a taxi if you are really tight on time. Very easy to get to/from AirAsia or other LCCT carriers. Not to worry. I can't help you with the lounge question but I suggest you read this http://blog.airasia.com/index.php/what- ... cc-termina

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
