I hadn't checked the webcam for a few days after finding it U.S. the last time I looked but just had a peek and it is up and running again now. Win 10 with Firefox 40.0.3.

Have a look before it goes down again!

If using Windows 10 first download QuickTime version 7.7.6 then upgrade it to the latest version 7.7.8, then use the 'old' Internet Explorer and not Edge. Internet Explorer is still installed and part of Windows 10. You will then find that the Multiflight webcam works.

dmrodgers I didn't realise Internet explorer was still installed after I had upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows10 hence I've been using Edge ever since. But after reading your message did a search using Cortana and found it still installed, now as you quite rightly say the Multiflight Cam still works. Cheers for that...

Hi

Anybody know what is going on with Multiflight as they currently seem to be selling most of there aircraft with others been transfered to another company?

The following aircraft are all advertised as 'for sale', Dauphins = G-CGGD, G-CEYU, G-BTNC, Robinson = G-CCGF, Beech 76 Duchess G-BNYO, G-TRAN, G-OADY whilst G-BOVK,G-MFLB and G-BEUX have recently been sold.
Piper PA-28 G-BSHP, G-BXLY, G-BZLH, G-GHKX & G-MFLM are now shown been owned by 'Pilot Testing & Training' whose postal address is the same as Naljets and for which Cessna 560XL, G-CGMF was passed onto a few months back.
Also looks like Boeing 737-300CJ, 9H-MTF which was also owned by Multiflight and operated by Maltese based operator Maleth Aero has been sold and has a new owner based in Birmingham.

This leaves just leave the new Ecureuil 2, G-WENA also owned by Multiflight and the Guimbal Cabri G2 G-CILR which is leased.

Naljets has just announced that its acquiring Multiflight's flight training centre at Leeds/Bradford Airport which will now become known as "PPT Aviation - Pilot Training and Testing". So its not the full take over of Multiflight as some of us thought.

Naljets acquires Multiflight’s flight training facility with sights on expansion

Tue 19th April 2016

Business jet management company Naljets has acquired the Multiflight Flight Training Centre at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Naljets which has big plans for its new venture will rebrand and market the flight training centre which will now be known as PTT Aviation - Pilot Training and Testing.

Naljets has acquired Multiflight’s Flight Training Centre with the aim of developing and expanding its current flight training offer. As well as offering a Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL), it intends to offer a Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR) which a pilot must have in order to fly under visually restricted conditions, such as within clouds, and further for fixed wing aircraft.

This will start with a £500,000 investment into the flight training centre with the addition of some impressive new aircraft. The Diamond DA42 twin engine propeller and Cessna 172SP single piston are new generation machines with cutting edge glass cockpit Garmin G1000 avionics.

The DA42 is one of the most advanced twin engine training aircrafts available and includes FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Controls) which are only usually present on more complex aircrafts.

The new aircraft will join the company’s impressive fleet of single and twin engines which includes Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft machines, all of which are equipped with modern avionics.

PTT is a subsidiary of the aircraft management and charter operator Naljets, which has a long-standing relationship with Multiflight. Naljets’ growing fleet of business jets, which are housed with Multiflight at Leeds Bradford Airport, include a new Bombardier Challenger 350, Challenger 605, Citation Excel and a Gulfstream G200. Naljets chose Multiflight as a base for its fleet due to its ongoing expansion and subsequent need for superior facilities.

Craig McLeod, Managing Director of Naljets holds both EASA and FAA Airline Transport Licenses including EASA Instructor and Examiner authorisations. Having seen the hugely impressive work of the Multiflight Flight Training Centre over the years, and its potential for expansion, he was inspired to approach Multiflight to acquire it.

Steve Borrowdale, Managing Director of Multiflight, said: “We have had a close relationship with Craig and Naljets for a number of years now and we are delighted that they are going to take over and further invest in flight training for the north of England. We are confident that Craig and the PTT team will further develop additional capability from Leeds Bradford.”

Craig commented: “We have always been impressed with Multiflight and its private aviation operation, which is why we chose it as the base for several of our UK aircraft. The flight training facility has enormous potential for further development and growth; giving pilots and companies of today and tomorrow first class training and testing services all within modern facilities designed to meet the needs of all clients from private and commercial students, to experienced flight crew needing ongoing or additional training.

“We aim to make PTT the premier pilot training and testing facility in the UK by bringing industry expertise, investment and a passion to succeed. We will make PTT the Pilot Training and Testing company to choose for your flight crew training needs; whatever they may be. We want to nurture the pilots of tomorrow and will provide aggressively structured flight training paths getting pilots where they want to be both quickly and cost effectively.

“Our business jet operation at Naljets gives PTT trained pilots opportunities to be involved with a flourishing global aircraft management brand, and we are very excited at the potential opportunities our acquisition of the Multiflight Flight Training Centre presents.”

It will be quite sad to see the established name 'Multiflight' go, PTT Aviation just doesn't have the same ring to it. But life has to change.

The webcam seems to have disappeared from the Mulitiflight web page, is this me having a senior moment or have they taken it down

No you are not ! I saw the new website but minus the webcam - I do hope it will be back, I thoroughly enjoyed watching FR24 then the live landing on the webcam.

Cessna FA.150K G-FMSG, which was operated latterly by Multiflight has been registered to PTT as G-KOVU.
This follows the company's other aircraft being registered with the name of a character from Lion King.

RMAC: I do the same watch on FR24 and follow on the web cam, especially when collection from the airport which I have to do twice in the next week. Watch it down and then be ready for the phone call stating they have the cases. Fortunately I live 5 minutes from the airport which allows me to monitor how long passport control etc takes, average this year for cases in hand just over 30 minutes at the 2pm peak time.
I hope someone has some news on the webcam, if not I will email the company.

The webcam has never worked for me in months if not a year or more, even with the latest version of QuickTime and a decent speedy internet connection.

Have to say I had no issues up to Monday when a message came up stating web page under amendment and to dial in in a few hours. When I returned on Tuesday a complete new Multiflight web page without a webcam link on the home page.
Not sure which programme its is but one that controls web pages I struggled to get SkyGo and was told to restore the old version of the programme, which made skygo work on my computer. At the same time unable to get the multifliogt webcam, whatever we used on SkyGO made the webcam work as well.
I had the same issues after loading Windows10 and had to revert to windows7
Our OpenOffice programme does not work on the firefox upgrade and we have had to switch back, but it works fine loading the new firefox on chrome, it seems some upgrades dont work across all platforms.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
