Well SOU is a more leisure focused hub with more empahsis on regional France so they could be building something similar at CWL but with more of an emphasis on the Med.SOU because of the volume of domestic flights they see, but certainly a positive!
Cardiff Blues. They beat Zebre earlier in the day.Whos flybe operating back from Parma for this evening?
Cardiff Blues. They beat Zebre earlier in the day.
I remember a while back Richard Holland (Cardiff Blues CEO) saying they used Flybe's chartering service so it's quite possible its work they used to subcontract out and may be taking in-house more. I did notice that it wasn't a CWL based aircraft but a BHX based E175.that shows how up to date I am regarding regions rugby then!
Interesting because in that article/interview on the Flybe CEO a while back she did say the charter side of things at Cardiff has potential.
Looks as if Flybe have added a Sunday flight to GLA from June, timings suggest a GLA based Dash 8 operating flights BE513/4, at least now makes weekend breaks an option again

Now all Sunday flights for the summer to GLA are off sale, no idea what is going on
They could do worse.Perhaps flybe have been reading F4A!
It's sometimes difficult to fathom why airlines do things at times. Flybe seem to have begun operating out of EXT today after early cancellations. easyJet cancelled 17 departures from BRS this morning whilst nearly everyone else seemed to be operating, including on some routes that easyJet had cancelled.Flybe have cancelled all their flights from Cardiff Airport today, TUI and Vueling are operating today but KLM aren't. Flybe are also operating from other airports today though they have cancelled a lot of flights. Can they be criticised for cancelling ALL their flights from Cardiff Airport today bearing in mind that the airport is open.
Nothing to do with loads that is for sure. If anything, all flights were very very busy, think it was just the Chambery which was low coming back for some reason but otherwise was a good day for loads.
We have crew from Swansea - Cardiff all the way up to the top of the Valleys and down into the Vale, some live nearly on top of a mountain, others are deep in the valleys, on farms.
Even the local crew who are down in Barry are struggling but things are improving.
One crew member had a scare this morning on the way to work and had to turn around, was just too risky to carry on, others sliding down the streets.
There are plans in place for tomorrow but we should all be back to near normal.
It is not something that any airline wants to do and we are all thinking about our customers but we have to remain safe ourselves too.
I'm kinda bored sat at home so will be grateful to actually fly tomorrow !!
