Depending on what the airports long term plans are for the terminal then maybe that's the airports next project. Knock it down and build a new wider western pier.

Yes I've noticed this individual as well. I think he's seeking a reaction . Best ignore to be honest. He's not doing his cause much good.

No I haven't only on that site. I've seen his posts but i'm not posting but just observing that site at the moment. I know there is a certain poster on WAF but i honestly don't think they are the same person as IAG and Brexit haven't been mentioned and that poster is a fan of Ryanair so i doubt he would criticise Ryanair's choice of routes.
There is a Facebook page where i post and chat on and some of the posters there could be considered away with the fairies when it comes to what routes CWL could do but i'd be surprised if they would troll a site like PPruNe and be negative especially towards Bristol though i do notice that his very first post mentions that he read Aviation Wales article about transatlantic routes.

Thanks for the welcome. I think everybody needs their opinion but some people take it to far and ignorant of people around them with vast knowledge. On another note I am flying to Rome in Saturday with Flybe so looking forward see the extended departure lounge. Will try to get some photos and hopefully post them.

I’ll fourth this and add my welcome. I also jumped ship from WAF as sadly it was no longer possible to hold a proper discussion. This is a great forum however and I wish I had joined long ago.

WAF has certainly seen a decline in discussion, especially said individual. As for Pprune, there's a few new (and old with new username) members that are popping up. When really, it's fairly obvious who they are.

I just wondered if any of you guys down there, know whats going on at Swansea Airport these days ? I've never been there, but I did fly on Air Wales once CWL-LCY and the plane came in from Swansea.
