I imagine it'll be a case of filling up the one's they have onsale especially for Xmas and New year time. I'd be surprised if they added more flights.Lets hope we will see some extra flights to the Canaries, Tui will have spare capacity.
There is an unconfirmed rumour on SWAG that the BOAC livery G-BYGC may well be saved at St Athan.
The people involved haven't been revealed but it would be great if it was turned into a museum piece whether at St Athan or Cardiff. But I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
Definitely! There would certainly be enough people in South wales who knew their way around a 747 to look after one.
That would be pretty cool.Just a thought but they should convert this 747 into a hotel like they have done at ARN. I'm hoping to book a room at that one next year.

I've just seen a post on Facebook Groups saying that sadly a large number of Swissport staff at the airport have been made redundant. Consequences of the drop off of flights at the airport due Covid19. Hopefully they can find employment elsewhere.
The same can be said for the rest of the UK.The welsh government will have to take swift action to save CWL. I don’t see great prospects for the airport even after covid blows over. We’ll have an extremely fragile and weak economy in Wales too.
All the WG can do is provide financial support or look to convert debt to equity. Not much else they can do imo. The airport will survive but what it's route network will be like in the future is anyone's guess. The welsh government will have to take swift action to save CWL.
