Tui will be offering Chambery as a destination this winter with direct flights. I’m not sure how many yet, but the 21st and 28th of December 2024 show as direct flights.

Edit:
Looks like a weekly Sunday flights from 21/12/2024 to the 15/03/2025 - if I’ve read that correctly.
21/12/24 to 22/3/25 according to posts on social media. It'll be a 1 weekly flight on Saturdays.

Whoops - Saturday you’re right. It wouldn’t let me select Saturday so selected Sunday with +-1 day.
Yep its doesn't seem to be loaded properly yet as its not on the drop down.

Article in Travel Weekly, states that TUI Summer 26, will be put on sale to the public on Oct 17th.
Fingers crossed we'll see something extra from them. Probably being way to hopeful but I hope that includes a 4th based aircraft and Cancun.

Speaking to the TUI engineers on Monday night it looks like a 3rd based TUI aircraft , BUT not a leased one , my guess is there will be a “W” pattern with another one from another base like this year

Their spokesman stated that they will be operating flights from 24 airports for summer 26, and will expand their number of flights in association with some of their airline partners, so hopefully some expansion for CWL.

TUI have pulled their direct flight to Naples from Bristol.

Too much to hope for Cardiff to Naples to be reloaded? Failing that Verona or Milan would be nice to open the lakes of the north.

Well that's a good thing in itself. All TUI fleet is a boost of sorts.

I think Naples isn't a cruise starting point anymore.
Verona for Lakes and Mountains would be a good addition and maybe more likely considering they added Chambery for the winter.

Personally I can't see a regular service to Cancun seeing as the TUI flights to Florida and Mexico from BRS have ceased. The only other airports operating to CUN and MLB are LGW, BHX, MAN, NCL and GLA. All these airports and so much bigger than CWL. But we shall wait and see.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
