Could be. They could be messing with the schedule though. Fingers crossed it's a 4th based aircraft. Even one for 3 months would be fantastic.Perhaps that is the announcement posted on this site a while ago.

Do you mean for Tenerife? As that's the only 4 weekly winter flight.I’ve just read that TUI are adding a 4th weekly flight for next summer (Sunday). I believe this is a continuation from the 4p/w winter service.
It also suggests a 4th based aircraft next summer given there are already 3 afternoon flights on a Sunday.
Sorry yes - Tenerife. Somehow I missed that crucial part out!Do you mean for Tenerife? As that's the only 4 weekly winter flight.

TUI will operate at least 9 weekly departures up to 15 weekly departures in April 2026 with 2 based aircraft.
That’s amazing news. It’ll be interesting to know the frequencies. 2 weekly to Faro and 1 weekly to Hurghada maybe?4th based aircraft for Summer 2026 with Hurghada and Faro returning and Fuerteventura going all year round.
I expect 1 weekly to both to be honest. That’s amazing news. It’ll be interesting to know the frequencies. 2 weekly to Faro and 1 weekly to Hurghada maybe?
I was hoping we'd see Verona added but still plenty of time for that!Super news.
An Italian route next ....![]()
Some info surrounding that here:Apparently there's increases on Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Enfidha, Antalya and Mallorca. Each get an extra weekly frequency.
So potentially still more to come though i would potentially expect on some days one of the aircraft might end up doing a W pattern flight for another airport. Some info surrounding that here:
https://www.travelgossip.co.uk/latestnews/tui-expands-cardiff-programme-for-summer-26
Gran Canaria - 2x weekly already on sale
Tenerife - 4x weekly, with the 4th flight recently put on sale.
Enfidha - 2x weekly already on sale
Antalya - 4x weekly but only 3x weekly currently on sale.
Palma - states an additional flight up to 6x weekly, but rises to 7x weekly during peak summer with the Tues evening PMI flight.
Based on that there's FAO, HRG and another AYT to be added to the schedule.
The current schedules has these gaps:
Tues - All day (2 flights)
Wed - PM Gap (1 flight)
Thu - Current schedule is for 5 aircraft so expect some time/day changes
Fri - All day (2 flights)
Sat - All day (2 flights)
Sun - AM gap (1 flight)
So there's still gaps for 6 flights to fill the 4 aircraft schedules each day.
Some might say it's because of Jet2 squeezing them at Bristol that they've expanded at Cardiff. With a 4 aircraft Summer 2026 base, I think it’s only a matter of time before Jet2 or someone else comes sniffing around for a slice of the pie (The market is clearly there and TUI clearly
