Recruitment day at Cardiff Airport


Cardiff Airport is hosting a recruitment event on Tuesday 23rd January 2018. The event will take place on the first floor of the terminal building from 2pm – 8pm.

The recruitment day will offer members of the local community an opportunity to drop in at a time that’s convenient on the day, to hear more about the employment opportunities currently available at Wales’ national airport.

Cardiff Airport is geared up for another busy and exciting year, following what has been another year of steady passenger growth, terminal developments and new routes. Not to mention the Qatar Airways announcement, which sees daily direct flights Doha and onwards to the rest of the world from 1st May 2018.

The Airport team, on-site concessions and other third party companies will be on hand to meet visitors and give people an opportunity to find out more about vacancies in Airport Operations, Swissport baggage handling, SSP food and drink outlets, Nuance duty free, FlightLink Wales WH Smith and the new Costa Coffee which is opening soon.

The new recently appointed aviation development manager at CWL is (from what his LinkedIn history states) ex-BHX where he was business development manager and also the manager of long haul and new business some years ago.

Direct quote: "Yesterday was my first day as Aviation Development Manager at Cardiff Airport. I'm very excited that I've joined the fabulous team and enthusiastic to be leading on the Airport’s route recovery. I am really looking forward to meeting with my existing airline and tour operator contacts, whilst building new relationships with industry colleagues at those carriers that will soon hopefully be flying into Wales’ capital city airport."
