Unacceptable.
If bus operators can't operate a service, they shouldn't be bidding for the contract to do so. Such cancellations should lead to them being stripped of that contract too, but the trouble is that they are all as bad as each other . Our esteemed Mayor wont be bothered given its an airport service.

I'd say this is worse than TPE! Horrendous service!

I used the A1 to get to work and back for the best part of two years, and I must say it’s nice to even be told of the cancellation. More usual is that a service simply doesn’t turn up, despite showing as Due in the app and on the bus stop displays. Nice enough buses, but hopeless service.

Even First dont cancel so many on one route in one day. I wonder how many passengers were late checking in for flights because of turning up for buses that didn't run? Cancellations on an airport service are going to cause all sorts of problems.

It might be an idea to contact Transdev at Harrogate. A person I know of is Henri Rihard who came over from France to sort Transdev out as it is a French company.
As a matter of interest the Company is the subject of a Traffic Commissioners Public Inquiry in Warrington during early part of next month regarding the running of the former Rossington Transport Borough Services (now Rosso) Another Bus company they took over as per Yorkshire Tiger

Wonder if a lot of Wizz pax rely on cancelled buses and that impacts on their boarding/turnaround times? Just a thought!

Was at the bus stop this morning in Horsforth the A1 at 08:15 went passed as was displaying the "sorry bus full" message. So I thought I would investigate, as the 34 which travels from Otely via Yeadon was on route a few minutes after and had circa 55 seats free.
A1 will have left LBA at 07:55, the following flights landed this morning
07:06 Bratislava
07:23 Dublin
07:13 Warsaw
07:43 Belfast - Domestic Arrival and I doubt passengers made the bus.

My question is, as the above are international arrivals, would the passengers actually make the bus at 07:55.

You've missed the point. The 34/A1 chase each other into town. The A1 starts at LBA the 34 from Otley. And joins A1 route at yeadon traffic lights/A658 junction then down A65 to Leeds.
34 always has plenty of seats so the majority of the A1 passengers must be from airport?
I didn't state earlier that the a1 stopped just after the bus stop i was at to let a passenger off. Said passenger had a case and duty free bag!

The bus was displaying the "full sign" so he obviously went passed the stop for a reason, probably as already over the standing limit and there were more than 1 waiting.
It did look overcrowded to be honest
