Driving past the new admin building late this afternoon, noticed that most of the windows are now fitted indicating that construction is progressing steadily.Which is just as well because I received an e-mail from Bristol airport spotters website the other week to say that the proposed spotters days at the old terminal building later this year are no longer possible as the builing will be demolished in May.
I know the 2018 Aviation Fair was not held because it was said it had become too successful in the number of visitors it attracted with a consequent detrimental effect on some aspects of the normal life of the airport - car parking for staff was apparently impacted adversely for example. Was there any indication if there was going to be a spotters day and where the venue would be,or that is work in progress.
Last year's Spotters' Day went ahead per this thread.
