A key performance indicator for ski routes that Jet2 use to measure success is the amount of ski's carried, usually about 1 set for every 4 passengers is the norm. I don't know how easy are performing on ancillary revenues but I will try see how many bags and ski's are being carried tomorrow.
Yes, Jet2 have had their flights on sale for nearly a year but around 50% of sales are made in the last two months so that is obviously a large chunk of passengers which easyJet could have lured from Jet2. As you say White Heather I also do not think that the Geneva route is the full story. LBA are obviously desperate to get new routes and airlines and there is a limit to what Jet2 and Ryanair will offer, but I do not think easyJet will be the future.
