Flights are back to 4x Weekly though in November with the Thursday Flight removed.

Easyjet's 4x weekly Belfast Int'l - Leeds/Bradford flights will operate following schedule during November up until 29th. Have noticed that the are no Airbus A319's due, its all operated by A320's

Mondays
EZY289 = BFS 07:00 - LBA 08:00 / EZY290 = LBA 08:30 - BFS 09:35 - Airbus A320
Wednesdays
EZY289 = BFS 07:00 - LBA 08:00 / EZY290 = LBA 08:30 - BFS 09:35 - Airbus A320
Fridays
EZY289 = BFS 14:30 - LBA 15:30 / EZY290 = LBA 16:00 - BFS 17:05 - Airbus A320
Sundays
EZY289 = BFS 14:30 - LBA 15:30 / EZY290 = LBA 16:00 - BFS 17:05 - Airbus A320

If we want more Easyjet without them having to set up a base at LBA. Maybe more beach routes might be the answer what with them increasing there bases at Palma, Malaga & Faro next year.

Sounds good. All 3 are big volume destinations. And the operators, though they said it last year, have been saying that 2022 is going to be big, bumper & one very busy summer. No reason to doubt that prediction. Adding capacity onto the volume destinations form LBA is a good choice for easyJet as it now allows them to venture into the Leisure market.

great news, cant see why they cant out in dec/jan and get some XMAS / NYE traffic.. also worth noting EMA is also at 4 weekly, so we seem to still be on par with them
Apparently according to another member from another thread they will evaluate the route for December onwards so I wouldn’t rule it out.

The route must be doing well if they’ve extended it for an extra month. Same must be said for EMA. So I’m positive that they will extend it into the winter months.

i returned from BFS on Friday and ended up on the NEO and it was close to full, I'm really not sure why EZY are umming and arrring about extending LBA/EMA for the winter months.. surely they will be getting higher load factors and ticket yields then say FAO & ALC from there..

Again great news, but don't see why XMAS / NY is not on..? I hope BA are capitalising on this and get good forward bookings

They keep extending based on demand, so if they see demand beyond early December they may well extend again until early 2022.

Slowly slowly catchy monkey. Unlike before where airlines could work schedules based on long term data etc they do not have any foresight of that. And you know why I don't have to explain that.

So with that in mind, the most profitable part of winter, is probably under review especially for Domestics. We know there is a great Xmas/New Year migration to Canary Islands over the that period. easyJet will be working on it.

BA seem to be doing well. Be nice to see BA City Flyer turn BHD into a fully operational base. But I'm dreaming.

easyJet Belfast Int'l - Leeds route Now fully uploaded and on sale up until January 2nd 2022. Flights continue to operate at 4x weekly (Mon, We'd, Fri & Sun) over Xmas & New Year.
And I suspect they will continue like this with flights extended for a couple of months at a time until such time as the market becomes more settled and predictable.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
