Was that a typhoon a little while ago? missed approach 3-2!

Yeap we've had a RAF Euro Fighter Typhoon do a ILS approach to runway 32 at around 11:45, Sorry I didn't get his reg but have asked around so will post if i get it from anyone, I do know his call-sign was "Typhoon08"
We also had RAF Tucano, ZF140 do an ILS run earlier using flight no "LOP40"

Also see that Jet2 positioned in Boeing 737-800, G-GDFW from Manchester earlier this morning as EXS41A to operate today's EXS223/224 Tenerife service seen as we are an aircraft short what with Boeing 737-8MG, G-JZHX been tech after its emergency problems last night.

Now was it G-JZHX or G-JZHZ as reported ?
I have not seen HZ yet and believe is still in the US awaiting delivery.

G-JZHX was the Jet2 Boeing 737-8MG aircraft that had problems last night. See me original message which i posted on here as the incident was happening at 20:47. Spotting Movements Log & Heads Up

Ok by the way I'll admit I missed typed the reg with me later message at 21:53, Spotting Movements Log & Heads Up but that has now been corrected. I guess this might have caused a bit of confusion as I see that message has been quoted afterwards by "JakeS" which still shows the typo.

It is in all white which somehow makes it look longer when in the air. Is this the same aircraft used by Jet2 last summer (out of MAN) as that was all white too (other than the Jet2.com titles). Or do they have several A321s in plain white?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
