Thanks for the replays people I guess looking up the suggested planes it was the FlyBe ERJ195 G-FBEL although I would of liked to have seen the Douglas c47 dc-3.

Titan Airways are operating a charter flight from/to Belfast City this moring in support of the on going police opeation in Northetn Ireland. Looks like some West Yorkshire based bobbies are been sent over to help out. I know some Met officers were sent over earlier this week from sevrall London Airports using Titan Airways aircraft.....

ZT9001 = ETA 10:30 / ZT7592 = ETD 11:30

Anyone know what aircraft type is been used?

Sunday morning around 11.15am I was using the bank at bramley when I heard what I thought was a very loud small plane, upon looking up I was surprised to see what I can only describe as a squadron of about 6 to 8 planes flying over bramley. I was shocked n excited to see this and I guess as they were coming from the area of Leeds and Bradford airport that this is where they had taken off from. Could anyone please enlighten me to what these planes were and where these planes were going. Thanks in advance.

What you saw passing over Leeds/Bradford Airport on Sunday morning were all Yak50 aircraft of the Aerostars display team. The 6x aircraft reg's are as follow's G-GYAK, G-FUNK, G-JYAK, G-HAMM & G-CBPM and G-BTZB

Just to add to that, they didn't depart from LBA. I was in Bramhope and saw them fly over from the North. I also saw 4 of them heading in a Northerly direction on Saturday morning. 4 had grown to 6 on the way back. It was nice to hear them - I couldn't see any detail but they sounded rather like they had radial engines - very loud for such a small aircraft.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
