Incredibly, the previously good newspaper called Yorkshire Post saw this aircraft doing circuits as worthy of an article under the heading 'Why an unmarked Boeing 737 was flying low over Leeds today'. Do they really pay these reporters??

They seem to be picking up snippets of information from "local forums" and making news articles from them. Note they quote the registration and owner. Information which was made public of out fellow Local "spotters" site.

Or maybe we have a mole in our midst :)

A mole would save them doing any work at all so, therefore, would be the most preferable in their view. It sounds as though they are not keen on having to do any work for their rubbish. Typical journo effort I'm afraid so is not unexpeected.

Said reporter is a signed up member here so if there's ever something you want reporting!?

How about running a story on the droves of Manchester airport passengers saying they are going to use Leeds Bradford next time after the recent fuel debacle?

There is a very nice chap who lives not too far from the airport who tends to supply information and photos to the YEP and YP when there is anything 'of interest'. No doubt this is why they now publish articles covering 737s doing crew training, RAF flypasts and even the fact that BA are showing A320s on the LHR route later in the year. The fact they did so last year too but they never materialised seems irrelevant. Fake news? Probably!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
