Head up. Wednesday, July 13th

The second flight off returning pilgrim’s will be arriving back into LBA tomorrow evening from Lourdes. The flight is again to be operated by the same as last week using an Air Mediterranee Airbus A321 aircraft.

It could get interesting in the LBA arrivals hall as it arrives 5 minutes after the PIA, Airbus A310 from Islamabad. It will be depart by positioning up to Glasgow.

Timings as follows.
BIE2590 ETA 18:10 from Lourdes
BE636F ETD 19:10 to Glasgow

Head up. Wednesday, July 13th

The Air Mediteranee landed at 1830, 5 minutes after tonight's PIA A310 which must have made up some time, as the arrivals board was showing a 1900 arrival earlier this afternoon.

I watched them land whilst out walking near Bramhope and noticed at 1815 a Boeing AWAC passing overhead Bramhope heading NW, parallel to Runway 32. I would estimate it was cruising at around flight level 150 as all four engines and the radome were clearly visible. It is a long time since I have seen one over Leeds, so thought it worth a post.

There's been a fair few white Jet2's in the last few days, anyone know how many of them there are? Will they all be painted red and silver?

Thomson 767 just flew past on its way in, shame it wasn't in yesterday!

I can confirm that today's inbound Thomson Service TOM8KW from Palma-Majorca was operated by Boeing 767-300, G-OBYF.

Jet2's Manchester based Boeing 737-300, G-CELG has just positioned into LBA this afternoon as LS42A to help out. It looks as though she will operate this afternoon's delayed LS175/176 Jersey rotations.

This due to LBA based Boeing 737-300, G-CELD having problems down in Nice this morning after operating the outbound LS241 service. She was due back in at around 12:20 operating the return LS242 service but has been given a hefty delay by looks off things.

Does anyone know why Jet2's EMA based G-LSAJ is now at LBA. According to flightradar it is operating the 251 Faro service and looks as though it has stayed overnight.

She diverted into LBA this morning operating the LS536 service from Cork to Newcastle at around 02:00hrs...

The Mistral Air Boeing 737-300, is due to position back into LBA tomorrow to operate the returning charter flight back to Rome.

Many apologies Lbaspotter, I hadn't read the posts on the other topics. :reallyshocked:

I believe that Thomas Cook have been swapped their based A320's. Long-time based G-SUEW swapped with G-CRPH down-route in Bodrum on Saturday 16th. They have again swapped now LBA based G-CRPH with Manchester based A320 G-KKAZ. G-KKAZ operated this mornings (19th-July) service to Palma. I do believe G-CRPH and MAN based G-KKAZ swapped last night in Dalaman.

Please correct if i'm wrong.

A Rumania registered McDonnell Douglas MD-81, YR-MDS of JetranAir is operating todays Mistral Air charter from/to Rome.

Here's a picture off her at Birmingham earlier this month.
