For anyone that's interested today's, EXS052K flight from Belgrade should see Boeing 737-300, G-GDFB returning back home after having it's C-check completed.

G-GDFB is currently on approach to LBA.

And what a noisy bugger too, seven miles away and i can hear her engines on full reverse thrust nice sound to it.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

What a nice visit, PH-OFO, KLM FOKKER 100, is currently stopping over at the airport tonight, after coming in with the 2045 from Amsterdam, she will be operating the morning flight out.

I think it might be worth the mention that BHAir re-commence their Burgas operations this coming Sunday (20th).

Flights are expected to be operated by one of their own A320's and will arrive and depart LBA at 1635 and 1735 respectively.

Did this flight start on the 20th and is it even a Sunday flight? I saw nothing on the arrivals/departures to indicate it was operating, although Humberside's flight was shown as starting that day. The LBA timetable shows it as a Friday flight, although it could be wrong - and its not shown as operational tomorrow either. Has the start been delayed? I recall this happening a few times with the BH' Air flights to Bourgas from LBA.

There is a Jet2 flight leaving 0800 on Saturday to Oslo incidentally.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Jet2 service LS6026 is charter flight taking England Football fans to watch the Norway vs England friendly warm up match which is taking place in Oslo on Saturday evening.

The aircraft will be coming back to Leeds in the early hours of Sunday morning.

I remember seeing it on a timetable I was reading, that it was starting on the 20th Heather, and I was reminded when it appeared on the LBA screens as I posted that post on the 18th. However, someone told me the service was removed at 1735 on the 20th, coincidentally when the flight was supposed to depart, so I don't think it did actually operate.

I'm thinking the same as you, and the start may have been delayed but I am 99% sure that the 20th was mentioned on a timetable that I read! :whiteflag:

According to the LBA TT which I have just checked, we have both a Scheduled and Charter service. The Scheduled service operates on a Sunday afternoon from 20/05 until 23/09 and the Charter flight operates on a Friday evening from 01/06 until 21/09.... who knows..?!

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

The Bourgas BH Air flight is showing for this Sunday on the LBA website arrivals/departures, so hopefully it is operating this time

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Jet2 have flown G-LSAB in from East-Mids this morning as LS041A to cover I would guess for the B757 that diverted into Manchester this morning.

Hi Heather

The Balkan Holidays Air flight from Bourgas tomorrow will disappear again from the LBA website live arrivals and departure pages. As I now understand that there weekly Leeds flights don't start operation until Friday, June 8th.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Thanks for that Lbaspotter.

G-DHJZ was the TCX A320 which positioned down from NCL this morning. She did in-fact arrive earlier than the time scheduled by LBA, but managed to depart 95minutes late for some reason.

All this was due to G-SUEW positioning down to BRS from LBA late yesterday afternoon as TCX760P due to an aircraft shortage down there I believe.

Looks like G-LSAK is positioning into LBA this morning from EMA as EXS042A.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Sir Elton John is performing infront of the Queen tonight at her concert. He shall then be present at the great yorkshire show to perform tommorow. Do LBA expect any private aircraft movements late this evening or tommorow early morning with Sir Elton aboard?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
