Well I have just been handed flight details of 2x Hajj charters been operated by Jet2.com from Leeds-Bradford Airport for Bradford based Sky Fly Connections again. I hear that they could be more as well. So watch this space!

Friday, October 12th – Leeds to Jeddah
Sunday, October 14th – Leeds to Jeddah
Thursday, November 08th – Madinah to Leeds
Friday, November 09th – Madinah to Leeds

[offtopic]The Daily Mail website is reporting on a "new" website that allows you to track aircraft on a map. Can any of you guess what this "new" site is called?[/offtopic]

Anyone know which Jet2 aircraft is positioning in from Lille AT 21:30 tonight as EXS041R?

Looks like it's Avion Express and their A319 again! LY-VEU is on her way back to LBA!

Any reason why AB and AE have changed bases..? We seem to have AE with all the fleet being all over the place at the moment..?!

Sorry yeah, I meant to put "LY-VEU is on her way back to LBA... As I Speak.. I didn't make it very clear.

It's an odd one, nothing was picked up on FlightRadar other than LY-VEU operating as EXS041R.. maybe she was just extremely early..?

It's probably just going to be a 738 and nothing to take too seriously so apologies if it is indeed incorrect but according to Flightstats.co.uk today's Thomson flight 3551 is to be operated by a 767.

I posted this morning that the flight was being operated by Boeing 757 G-OOBJ and it was here in this thread as I checked. I also posted it was just approaching the Italian coast near Venice and was more or less on time.

So where's it gone???? :dunno:

Currently watching through the binocs two small planes doing a display somewhere in a south-westerly direction of Leeds. Did anyone see it?

Looks like RAF Yeadon (Leeds-Bradford) is in active use today.

RAF Chinook, ZH901 has been seen over the airfield twice today at 09:25 & 14:20
RAF Hercules C130, ZH881 was also seen on finals to runway 32 at 10:30

A Lynx also flew very low towards the city centre today with the rear door open, and its gear deployed just as it went out of sight. There's been a few recently. Only reason I can think of is they were heading for the helipad at LGI transporting injured troops?

Unless of course today Leeds is at war with MAN for that scheme to target our passengers!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
