The Eastern Airways Saab 2000 inbound operating the EZE37AL from Aberdeen is night stopping Leeds tonight instead of going south to Bristol due to Fog.

Also the early mornings British Airways, London Heathrow SHT1340/1341 rotations have been Cancelled due to the fog as well..

Anybody know what Bmi Regional flight to London Luton is tonight? it says checking in at 21:15 so I didn't think it was a positioning flight.

Yeah a BMI regional embraer 145 brought the Arsenal team up today around about half 11ish and went through multiflight so will be taking them back down to London again. Its scheduled to leave at 23:15.

Regarding the area used by spotters outside Yeadon cemetary, I spoke today with the Councillor who agreed to take the issue of overgrown bushes etc away at the last JCC meeting, and he confirmed he had spoken to the Parks Department who had agreed to deal with it. He assumed it has been done, or if not, that it will be done. He had actually visited the area to take a look himself.

Re reports that the double yellow lines may have been re-painted, he commented that there should always have been double yellow lines there - which there have but they have obviously worn away and in some areas crumbled away. If the lines are re-painted, it is NOT connected to the request to trim down the bushes, so may well have happened anyway due to complaints by people trying to access the cemetary and stone yard next door.

I believe the Arsenal team never made the flight back down.

As the mighty Bantams took them to extra time and penalties I was told Luton denied them a later slot (possible due weather), so the team bussed it back down!

Ryanair Boeing 737-800WL, EI-EVZ positioning into Leeds now from Liverpool as RYR15P after Leeds based Boeing 737-800WL, EI-DAO diverted to Liverpool earlier this morning while operating the inbound RYR76AW from Dublin.

Also looks like bmi regional, Embrear 145, G-RJXF is now re-positioning back to Leeds as BMR9151 after diverting to Manchester earlier operating the inbound BMR1612 service from Brussels..

Friend of mine was crew on this flight and she said what a nightmare it was, worse thing is diverting to LPL. Had her sat around in the aircraft in freezing cold without being left off to go into terminal.

3 Airbuses on the ground at the same time at the moment for 3 different airlines. Has this happened before?

Yes it has. If I remember correctly, every Thursday during the summer season in 2007 or 2008 we had a Thomas Cook A320, First Choice A320, Iberworld A320 and possibly a BMI A319 or A320. Not sure if we've had an A321, a A320 and a A319 parked up at the same time.

Yes very much so. Off the top of my head a few years ago wednesdays had MYT A320, bmi minline A319/20 & Onur Air A320 or A300's! Thursday's had a First choice A320, bmi mainline A319/20, iberworld A320 & Volare/LTE A321 all on the deck at the same time. I must admit though in recent years LBA has been dominated by the boeing's!

Here's a pic from July 13 last year of three Airbuses at LBA - PIA 310, Thomas Cook 320 and an Air Mediterranee 321.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
