Brand new Challenger 350 G-SCAR which was delivered on the 18th December to NAL assett Management has just landed.

Tucano ZF243 landed on runway 14 this morning around 1030. It may have been a touch and go but his wheel touched th ground.

Well to be a touch and go it had to touch the ground - otherwise it would have been a low approach and go around! :s_laughat

Just a heads up, Jet2 are to operate a Virgin "flying without fear" course flight (40 minute Leeds to Leeds) tomorrow afternoon (Sunday 11/01/14) utilising a Boeing 737-300 as follows.

EXS6010 = ETD 15:00 / ETA 15:40

The flying without fear flight appeared to go into the hold for some time this afternoon. Was this weather related?

We were scratching our heads in disbelief yesterday that the flight even operated. If they weren't scared to start with they would have been when they landed!!

Easyjet Swiss A319 HB-JYC is just about to try and beat the crosswind of 270 at 26 kts gusting to 37 kts to land at Lbia from Geneva.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
