I seem to remember a leg to/from Humberside for these LZ flights, is that happening with tomorrows A330?

Kittyhawk call sign heard this evening - a helicopter that landed at Multiflight. Then a small jet plane took off using an Ascot call sign. Shortly after, the Kittyhawk helicopter took off from Multiflight, this time using another Ascot call sign, Ascot 1120, heading to Strensall near York.

Not sure who the VIP on the Kittyhawk flight was but do know Cameron has been in West Yorks today & Prince Charles was around these parts yesterday.

The weekly Saturday Balkan Holiday Air service has been running direct into Leeds since July. it Only operated via Humberside in May and June before been split into 2 direct A320 services.

may to June
BGH5559/5560 = Bourgas - Humberside - Leeds - Bourgas
July to September
BGH5559/5560 = Bourgas - Humberside - Bourgas
BGH5569/5570 = Bourgas - Leeds - Bourgas

Flightradar says BGH5569 goes by way of Manchester?? :s_dunno

Well I think Flightradar24 has it listed wrong on this occasion. As the BGH5569/5570 has been running into LBA every Saturday moring since July and it's how it been flightplanned into LBA tomorrow again.
Also the LBA website live arrivals and departure boards have it listed down for tomorrow. If you don't believe me check it out yourself.

PS: if the A330 turns up as flight planned tomorrow moring expect it to be parked on the realined wideboded stand 14.

Do you think they may have re-scheduled our flight to operate into and out of Manchester due to the larger aircraft ?

No need for a split load as Balkan Holidays Air don't operate a Saturday morning Manchester - Bourgas service. I believe they have 2/3x weekly flights operating on Friday, Saturday and Mondays.

Also if that was the case why not file the flight plan into MAN instead of LBA?

BH airlines do have a MAN flight tomorrow. They operate 3 weekly Bourgas and 2 weekly Varna.

Bourgas runs Fri, Sat and Mon, with Varna on Wed and Thu.

What are the ETA and ETD of tomorrows Manchester - Bourgas service user001?

According to the Bourgas Airport website departure boards there's 3x Balkan Holidays Air flights due out of Bourgas tomorrow moring as follows

06:15 BH Air = BGH5531 to Aberdeen
06:45 BH Air = BGH5569 to Leeds
06:50 BH Air = BGH5559 to Humberside

The times are 1715 in and 1815 out according to the BH website.

The 5569/5570 is down as going to LBA.

LZ-AWA has actually done very little scheduled flying since it arrived at BH air, mostly running charters for the MoD and the likes, so LBA is quite privileged indeed.

So far, I think it's only visited MAN twice, LGW once and BZZ a dozen or so times UK wise.

Dont know how this rumour started but flight is curently inbound to HUY and its an A320!

Hope no one got up especially early for this one.

Not a rumour as there a big white thing on the tarmac at LBA right now!

Because as predicted and flight planned Balkan Holidays Air Airbus A330-200, LZ-AWA has just landed Runway 14 at Leeds/Bradford in the rain operating the BGH5569 from Bourgas.

PS: I wish some people would belive me when I post an initial expected movement. Knew it might actully happen sometime soon as they had requested to bring it in a few weeks ago.

I wounder why they are using the A330 on this route today, could there be chance they are testing the water at LBA and upgrade this route to A330 opps next summer??

Really strange fr24 showed 320 on approach to huy when I checked this morning. Maybe different flight number, is this an additional flight?

Does anyone know what the BH A320 loads have been like? Just wondering if it's demand that has brought the A330 in or is it simply that they wanted the option of the A330 if they were short of an A320? watched it land on the webcam and from that angle it looked like a text book landing

What's strange about it? Its not an additional flight... As I posted yesterday evening, since July when the flight was split into 2 flights Leeds has had its own dedicated direct Airbus A320 service to/from Bourgas (BGH5569/5570) on a Saturday morning and so has Humberside (BGH5559/5560).

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
