No sign of a Lisbon departure on the departures board, but the Small Planet A320 is operating the first of this years Santa related flights - departing this morning to Ivalo. It was due out at 0630 but didn't actually leave until after 8am.

The 0800 departure to Lisbon appeared on the Departure Board as soon as you entered the airport, but not on any boards past security.

It had it's own line above all of the earlier departures. Had a weirdly long flight number beginning with something like NSUxxx

It's quite likely the NS flight to Lisbon was a Netjets private flight operating from the south side. Their European fleet is Portuguese registered.

Does anyone know if are Monarch Airlines are running a xmas Santa flight tomorrow using the Leeds based Airbus A320 which sits around doing nothing on a Wednesdays? I'm only asking as seem to be listed as operating a local flight tomorrow according to the airports website live arrivals and departure boards.

MON1825 - ETD 14:45 / ETA 15:45 = From/To Leeds/Bradford.

Also worth noting that the Small Planet Airlines Airbus A320 is due back in tomorrow afternoon as follows.

LLC892 - ETA 14:25 = from Ivalo

Small Planet Airlines A320, LY-SPD currently working its way inbound to LBA from Ivalo as "LLC892", Meanwhile Monarch are using the Airbus A320, G-OZBW for this afternoon's local santa flight as just started up as "MON1825"

Enter Air Boeing 737-800, SP-ENX has just positioned into LBA from DSA as ENT3716 as it's due to operate a Lapland charter tomorrow moring to Enontekio.

Meanwhile Jet2 used Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAE on this morings LS087 charter flight to New York Newark.

G-SONE - Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 = "CLF256"

Just a little reminder some of the ski flights start this weekend. Easyjet return with flights to Geneva along with Jet2 restarting flights Geneva and Chambery whilst the Salzburg route starts a bit later on the 19th.

A Small Planet Airlines A320 was due to position in over night but it has gone tech elsewhere, so another aircraft will be positioning in this moring from Latvia to the operate the delayed outbound charter to Ivalo

Small Planet Airlines Airbus A320, LY-SPG positioned into Leeds from Vilnius at around 05:50 this morning as LLC891P

Meanwhile Jet2's Boeing 737-300, G-CELD operated its last ever flight today as it was positioned empty from Leeds/Bradford with titles striped to Kemble for scrapping.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
