We have G-ZAPX Titan 757 positioning in tomorrow morning from Stansted as jet2 are short of aircraft at LBA tomorrow

It would be nice if it was on the deck at the same time as sister G-POWH and Monarch's A321 but I guess that's being a bit too greedy and will come in after the A321 has gone.

ZAPX has now gone to Palma but the Monarch A321 is still here. A Monarch A320 is currently in the Multiflight hangar.

ZAPX is doing two Palma round trips from Leeds today.

Pan Europeenne Air Service look to be operating a Perpignan charter on Friday 6th May to bring the Catalans Dragons in for their Challenge Cup game with Batley.

PEA007 Arrives 10:10
Departs 23:55

Presumably either their Embraer 135 (F-GYPE) or 145 (F-HBPE).

Sorry White Heather, they are playing my team at Mount Pleasant, Batley. And it's on TV!
Agreed. My resident RL expert here at work is obviously do distressed at the fact the Superleague table is upside down (with Leeds Rhinos manfully holding up the rest of the league), that he got his fixtures confused. Apologies.

Shuttle 21X at at 19:35 also, loving this non standard departure routing! Come on ATC, why is BA doing it and no one else? (Do not worry not the anti aircraft brigade!)

BA Shuttle just done another early right turn off 14, saw it do it over weekend not sure if Saturday or Sunday, do we know why as yet?

I emailed LBA ATC a few weeks ago, politely enquiring about these non-standard RW14 departures. I have yet to receive a reply.

I suspect it is connected to the trialling of new departure procedures and that just one airline, BA, are participating. It is no secret that nationally, new departure and arrival procedures/routings are being developed and they will impact on LBA as with other airlines.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
