The Icelandair767from Reykjavik flight originates from Chicago so I expect its bringing the same freight as the recent Silkway flights from the USA.

Mesk Air is due from Ostend 09.54E 9H-MSK B744F.
On a separate note, Silkway seem to be a bit quieter in recent days. They have been using Stansted though in recent days. Are we in danger of losing this service?.

Also due in this afternoon is a Maersk 77L and a 76V both t/f Billund so the cargo side of things a bit busy this Sunday afternoon with both scheduled to be on the ground along with the Silkway 744.

National B744F landing shortly 18.25 N537CA.
That makes two today.

The National was from Hong Kong via Dubai DWC.
At one point it looked like it would follow the Emirates B77W in, but due to a high handover from London Radar, it had to do a circuit to lose the height and a Jet2 A321N sneaked in.
Almost two in from Dubai together. Doesn't happen very often!.

A Silkway B744F is due in from Baku 15.57E 4K-SW888.

A question for anyone with knowledge on BHX cargo ops.
Having kept an eye on Silkway operations, they appear to transfer cargo at Baku destined for the UK to 4K registered B744F.
We never see their VP and VQ registered B744F.
Anyone know why?.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
