Birmingham Airport - Picture Thread

Can I ask why my 757 picture has turned up on Brum X photobucket site with no credit to me,and not for the first time.My pictures are copyright but I am happy to share them anywhere and to anyone with a due credit.Thanks,simon.

Hi Simon,

No disrespect meant, but professional photographers add a watermark to prevent copyright infringement.

I have not been on this site for long, but enjoy looking at some of the pics and would say that perhaps they should all have a watermark added.

Hi Jon.Yes have thought about that but I am only an amateur snapper mainly for my own amusement.As I said I don`t mind anyone copying my work as long as they ask for a credit.I often see pictures that have a watermark removed on various sites so don`t know if works with the worst offenders.Regards,simon.

Hi Elmdon74, thanks for your post. I appreciate what you are saying but i post them on photobucket for me to show other people who love aircraft. If i then post the pic on another website i always credit, you are included in this.

There is only one other website i do this and you will see (After falling short in the past) that i always credit you and Ray for your excellent photos.

Hope that clears that up, if you have a problem with this and just tell me and i wont do it again.

Also just to clarify as i want people to know that i am crediting people, the only other webiste that i have posted this photo is a certain website s---------city where there is a BHX section under the Birmingham Metro area, i even gave you some "flattery" comments about you and your photo.

I thank you for the above comments but please could you read the photobucket terms and conditions which you have agreed to which state " By uploading, you are confirming that the Content is yours—no one else's—and that the uploading and use of your Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, intellectual property rights or human rights of somebody else. If we learn that you are infringing others' rights or are using Content that is not yours, Photobucket has the right to remove this Content and you agree that you are responsible for any costs associated with the infringement.
With Flickr there is a clear distinction between pictures the person themselves have taken and other peoples pictures which can be stored as favourites. On Photobucket it is impossible to tell who has taken the picture and anyone can edit/share it.You have uploaded a copyright picture and I would kindly ask for it to be removed.It was posted to BANAD a bhx spotters group by Ian Farquharson and no credit was given.Many thanks,simon.

Hi all.Photos from a few days last week to follow.First off Tuesday went expecting the AN12 at 10am which finally arrived from Zurich at 4.30pm.Weather was OK to start but got worse with frequent very heavy showers which made for some interesting landing shots.Some pics are dark because of this.AN12 left at 6.30pm just before sunset.

Hi all.Some photo`s from Monday 26th October.Decided to visit as forecast was sunny for perhaps the only day this week.The Autumn sunlight and nice tree colours ,as 15 was in use for landings, made for some colourful pics.The Icelandair was a bonus.
