Had a visit to BHX yesterday as the Japanese Dash 8 was due out to Malta on it`s delivery flight and it was sunny!Plenty of small freighters and biz-jets around and a bonus was JY-BAC being towed from the Monarch hangar.

We always park in car park 2 so we nip in via door C even though we are usually checking in with Monarch.

Emirates clearly have a lot of passengers including quite a few non-economy but they do have quite a large proportion of the check-in area. Shame there is not much room to move them along a bit to free off some space for others.

Check-in space is certainly not going to get any better with the extra flights.

Any more news on taking the wasted space round Frankie and Benny's airside? Will be passing through this week so we will see.

Any more news on taking the wasted space round Frankie and Benny's airside?

Not heard anymore about it and there was no sign of any work happening upstairs today. All the action is taking place downstairs with some skylights added above the Star Alliance check in area and hoardings still up around the corner.

Apparently work is to start in T2 soon.
